I was front row with these guys in the early 2000's.. We only made it about 2 songs in.. I had to take my buddy to the ER after he got his forehead smashed into the stage monitor. The show was at a pizza place if I remember... TERROR opened up for them. I made sure he got a Scooby Doo Band-Aid over his stitches.

Pushing 40 these days, but I remember the late 90s and early 2000s throwing down it felt like every weekend or month to Unearth, God Forbid, Shadows Fall, AILD, Dillinger, ETID, Misery Signals, etc....easily would have 500+ kids show up to any show. Miss those days something fierce! Unearth has and will probably always remain my favorite metalcore band.

Take! Rob this world of resource Burn the oil for fortune Stealing from our savior In quest of power Sealed Our fate is catastrophic The coming days of failure Aborting evolution In quest of power Take all you want and these bloody skies will reign Take what's hers and these bloody skies will reign These bloody skies will reign (x2) Oh mother close your eyes These bloody skies will reign (x3) Dear savior brace your heart Take! Rob this world of resource Burn the oil for fortune Stealing from our savior In quest of power Sealed Our fate is catastrophic The coming days of failure Aborting evolution In quest of power Blackened lives Sunless skies Our bare world weeps Black hearts now reign Blasphemous corruption Control progression Our bare world weeps Black hearts now reign (x2) In solitude a lonely voice is heard This future of despair is easy to avoid (x2) Lies strangle this world's hope In quest of power (x6)
