I hope you'll explore more of ther discography soon among with some Mercyful Fate ❤ King's vocal style in higher register is called a reinforced falsetto (kinda like Bee Gees vocals lol) Idk what to recommend you to check out next, maybe just gradually go through this live concert (at the Fillmore, Philadelphia) as it has great mixing, quality and a variety of tracks both from KD and Mercyful Fate. Oh and go to Abigail and Them for the best bass work. Four Horseman has some absolutely tasty bass work towards the end of the song. Greatest closer to an album ive ever heard.

Thats high falsetto singing, but King does things a bit differently. He often channels from the head range and adds fry on the end of a note to give it a more direct delivery and does a lot of mixing registers often seen in musical theatre. Dudes insane but it should he no surprise... HES THE KING!

Are you thinking of falsetto for the name of the high register vocals? I also have the same reaction to Show Yourself as your drummer haha! I miss the sludginess 😢
