This is in my top 3 best concerts ever. I saw this tour in St. Louis. King's guitarist Andy played on Death's Individual Thought Patterns album.

Top of the mornin' to ya! A few bits: King Diamond is his stage name, yes. Also, you need to react to 'Witches' Dance' by Mercyful Fate. It's King's first band before King Diamond. There's a music video for it, no good live ones from what I see. And of course there's a whiskey ad at the end, making me all thirsty.

I often wonder which song or album is the best, but in over thirty years I haven't figured it out. And that's good! For example, KD's "'Amon' Belongs to 'Them'"".

@@GilaMonster971 You're right, KD's discography is so large and varied, everyone will find their favorite. It is a fact that after the Spiders lullaby album, the plastic and flat sound spoils the impression a bit, which is in direct contrast to the last albums MF Dead Again and 9, where it is full, vigorous production in all directions.

King Diamond is the band name and the stage name of the lead singer. King Diamond’s real name is Kim Bendix Peterson

king diamond is certainly fun, but there is a cooler comrade. I highly recommend you get to know Devin Townsend. He just has amazing vocals. He's just from another planet.
