I don't know if anyone mentioned it before, but on this show King Diamond is 65 years old! His vocal system is from another universe ...

Know that this is 2 years ago but I have to mention that the King is 65 years old AND the beautiful young female singer is his wife !! :)

He's actually 59 in the video. Nonetheless, incredible.

I'm glad you loved it. Greatest metal vocalist EVER in my humble opinion. Charon is another great song by him and you can't forget Evil by Mercyful Fate. His discography is 19albums with both bands. The Abigail 1987 Live is can't miss by the way.

So glad you did King! His albums are all concepts involving horror and the occult. Very great story telling and he has actors on stage live to play parts of the charactors. One iof my favorite singers, his voice and melodies have an ethereal, haunting vibe to it.

Halford changed register in early 2000's , all through the 90's you see the evolution through but in early 2000 's he went baritone . King still Tenor . Also Halford get raspier and thicker . But As opposite people may think , Halford way is harder because he is NOT in falsetto but in full extended and Mixed voice . King is in Falsetto . Halford way is much powerfull and extreme . Also Halford is older Than King . And i think Halford still high in the game as his age .

I just recently discovered this channel and although I am not Goth, I do respect the lifestyle, and when I saw you were going to react to this. The first thing I said to myself was "How does He NOT know of King Diamond?!?!?!" My apologies for thinking stereotypical, but watching this reaction video was extremely entertaining and in some ways,no disrespect, funny, because of you're first reactions. I remembered listening to him as far back as his Mercyful Fate days (I'm that Old) and always admired his work, his performances, just him in general being an extreme performer. Awesome Reaction video and definitely following you're channel.

That fan with the face paint is an earlier incarnation that King used back in the 80's. And this song is on the follow up Conspiracy album to "Them". So dude you need to listen to "Them" all the way through and then "Conspiracy". I've been a King fan since 1987 and finally got to see back in 2014 at The Moore Theater here in Seattle, Washington.
