Site is in Brighton, but apparently it is now a construction site, so is no more. Too bad. I think it's cool too. Ren wrote this one when he was 25 and confined to his bedroom. Lot of people like this best! The mashup of Fred Again really is neat and he did a bts showing how he mixed the music and added the reverb and went dry and then back to reverb. Love your reactions! Don't let the haters bring you down.

I think some of Ren’s fans are overly protective of him and his music. They adore him and can’t tolerate any real or perceived criticism. Maybe it helps to understand that as you get those comments. Ren has said he uses EQ and compression and he clearly loves reverb whether it’s from the natural surroundings or added in afterward. I’m happy you’re reacting to Ren and hope you won’t stop just because of a few comments.

This was one of the first 3 songs I heard from Ren - the first 2 were "Hi Ren" and "Chalk Outlines." And when I got to this one and realized that he could just kill any genre, that's pretty much when I was sure I was a RENegade. For me, this one was just fun from beginning to end. The flow switches, the beat, the location, and Ren just cutting loose and being Ren - never gets old! As for the haters, as others have said, ignore 'em. I've learned so much about music listening to people like you who are real musicians talking about how certain sounds might be produced - it's fascinating. You'll never hear me dunk on curiosity - it's one of the best qualities a person can have!

It's so curious how some people can love Ren - who is clearly all about getting creative and creating the sound he wants by any means - and yet they don't want anyone else to be curious about production. Ren is willingly transparent about his process, so ignore the hypocrites. Like others mentioned, 👀 "What You Want" and stay til the very end. "Illest of Our Time" is probably my favorite hip-hop song of his, with "Genesis" as a tough contender. Genesis also has an acoustic live version, so if you were still thinking about doing the double play as you mentioned awhile back, it's a good option. You're great. Love your enjoyment. Try to focus on the majority of comments, which are encouraging, rather than the few assholes who just want to taint the world with their own bitterness. The royals have a saying... never complain, never explain. I feel like reactors need to adapt that a bit. They need to tell people watching to stop complaining and just react how they want, no explanations required. It's your channel, if we enjoy it we'll come back, if we don't we should go away quietly. I think you are talking about Ren's most recent song "Troubles" the official music video. He has a BTS video showing how he took Vera Hall's voice (The original song's vocalist) on "Troubles so hard" and mixed it in his program to give the voice a synth sound. He used that very tweaked voice in sections of the song. I might be one of the "haters" you are talking about. A few months back you reacted to The Big Push, War Pigs or I shot the sheriff. You seemed bored and not very impressed. I was being sarcastic about your "happy reaction" and gave you some crap about it. But that was 2 or 3 months ago, I haven't said a peep since. I have just appreciated your reaction since then for the algorithms and moved on.
