Evermore was the biggest grower for me, the song and album. Only a few songs stood out on first listen but I appreciated so many songs went from my least fave to most fave after only a couple listens. As for this song...your reaction was spot on. I was so shocked - when the tempo sped up and then dropped back down when she broke through with “you were there...” !!!!!!!

It took me so long to pin down that Bon Iver's part sounded like a squall, with Taylor's parts being the calm both before and after the storm

My favorites really changed so much from first listen to now, and watching people react to it made me appreciate even the songs I didn't initially vibe with. Like Cowboy like me and Evermore. Hey Mike! I really enjoyed your reactions to these two albums and Taylor’s songs, it was really nice during this pandemic. I wish it weren’t over. Grammy’s are next month, you probably haven’t thought of reacting to her 5 Grammy performances (in order) leading up to this year’s Grammy’s. I thought it would be cool to see her progression from 16yrs old to now 31, how she has evolved, matured, and her music has grown since a teenager with a life ahead of her, not in any way knowing what would happen the next 15 yrs. a young girl with still hopes and dreams of a career in music, to where she is now. I find it very interesting.
