This is a very emotional song against the mafia, which in some parts of Italy is also called Cosa Nostra. At the end of the video, you can see an old woman with white hair next to him: it's Rita Borsellino, the sister of judge Paolo Borsellino, who was killed by the mafia in 1992 a few months after the murder of his friend and colleague Giovanni Falcone, judge as well. Together they were the symbol of the war against the mafia and today in Italy they are considered heroes. It's a very touching song, with a message of hope and freedom and the invitation to fight against all kinds of abuse, corruption and the criminal system.

Its a song about Mafia which is "cosa nostra"literally our thing ... It was a plauge in Italy especially in my island Sicily. He also use the lines "an island with lemons and shells" that institution of mafia killed many people especially during 80's and 90's . There was a real war of Mafia many people buried disappeared . I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly, the old lady is Maria Falcone, sister of Giovanni Falcone, judge and magistrate, killed by the mafia in 1992. Now Falcone is an Italian hero and a source of inspiration for all the younger generations.
