Once upon a time there was this little band called the Beatles that dropped several hit LP's on us and shook the world in a way that no one could have before that. Right place right time. I was 19. I'm now 75, been following this group since the sing off, and when you think they just can't possibly top the last thing they did, they do! BUT, they do it with no instruments. Seriously? I love this group!!

I said this on the Mad World vid too, but it bears repeating. A PTX release is a double joy now because it means a new Jase reaction is inbound too 😀. Keep up the great work!
@theloneranger87254 жыл бұрын
I listened very carefully, and maybe I'm going deaf, but I believe this is the first video by PTX where Scott has no distinguishable solo input during the entire song. I know he must be harmonizing with the group, but unlike Mitch, I can detect no instance in this video where his voice is heard above the others. For PTX that is just incredible, especially since he sings lead in most of them. Oh, no. Someone call a doctor. Scott must have a case of laryngitis! Great reaction, Jase. Thanks for jumping on this one so quickly.

As a formal vocal major in a performing arts academy I love love love when you review pentatonix. As a choir we, as a group, aspired to be as good as pentatonix. A Cappella was always our favorite thing to sing. One song we did was called Ho Taru Koi and at multiple times it sounded like water droplets just with our combined voices. Another one was Las Amarillas which I often describe as sounding like a what I think a scitzophrenic's mind sounds like. But I think what you might be hearing a lot when you listen to them is the phenomenon that happens when one or more voices perfectly match pitch not even a little bit flat or sharp. When that happens you can hear something more notes than are actually there and it's breathtaking.
@super_siri4 жыл бұрын
Hitting two notes perfectly, often gives the impression of a third note. 3 notes, can be as many as 5 notes if hit perfectly. It's a wonderful phenomenon, and leads to that wall of sound situation.

Great reaction as always Jayce! I so love this new original song. Kirstie does a beautiful job in her lower register and is so solid and melodic throughout the song. But, oh Mitch! I love both those high harmonies and his lower register flowing throughout the entire song backing up Kirstie’s lead. Kevin looking so blasé in the beginning of the video as he just calmly beatboxes his heart out and then about midway through just breaks loose and is totally Into it and just jamming away. The bass drops by Matt and Scott supporting the bass as well as the harmonies throughout the song is awesome also. I love everything about this video although I do have to admit the focus on the eyes freaks me out a little bit. It’s just a thing I have about eyes😉 The base melody in this song gives me big Enya Orinoco Flow’s s vibes. I love how into it you always get as well. It just makes me happy to see another video from you pop up. Keep it up! So glad that you were being able to make a go of this and keep on reacting. I always look forward to it.
