My fav intro/end songs are usually very jpop oriented or some form of classical approach. I've hated every 'metal' intro they've produced lol.

Yeah, most of the metal ones aren't that great. There are the odd good ones (especially from bands like SiM or Maximum The Hormone), but, I do prefer the more pop or just straight up rock ones. Those OPs and even EDs have introduced me to some of my favourite J-Rock bands like SPYAIR, Rookiez is Punk'd, Man With A Mission, Aqua Timez, and many more.
