Alex Hefner is cool. Only KZbin music reviewer I know that gets facts about the songs in depth. Smart and witty guy. I'm a metalhead and Joyner Lucas has much respect from me. Real witty and thought out lyricist this man. Just like Em.

I remember when Alex’s reactions were… Rap guy listening to Slipknot (cuz I know that was the band that made him switch gendres) …. Maaaaan!!! Being a Tallica, Slipknot, aaaand Eminem, J Cole and K Dot lover… i feel him… dont hate, just enjoy

For any J. Cole or Joyner Lucas fans here, don’t get the wrong idea about this video. You’re not watching a Metalhead reacting to Hip-Hop in the sense you think you are. He’s a Hip-Hop fan too and was a Hip-Hop fan before he was a Metal fan.

Payback's a bitch, and her stripper name's Karma. This was a very interesting song. You rarely hear the cheater's perspective in a song like this. In almost every song about cheating, it's usually told by the victim. And what I like even more about this is the "angel/devil on my shoulder" aspect. That's probably a piss poor metaphor, but the fact that the cheater was getting his comeuppance as a result of his actions was refreshing. Very interesting song, loved the subject matter, and I'm all for you sharing more hip hop/rap with the metal community. Music should bring people together, not push us apart.

I’ve stopped trying to request a reaction for at least a year and a half because the list is too big and it’ll be a year before you’ll ever get to it and by that time you would’ve forgotten what it was, or you just don’t want to react to it. Now I’m trying again considering the band is unique enough to warrant a reaction from a channel of this size. The band is called King Diamond, react to either Blue Eyes, or Masquerade of Madness

This song is good dont get me wrong. Its good, but its neither of their best. J.Cole is notorious for having verses like this. Growth through hardship. Joyner is great about his perspectives but he is on a track with J.Cole, who tore that verse up. Joyner does come from a different P.O.V. But this song sounds a lot like Fuck Fans by Drake (from Certified Lover Boy) with a more realistic spin on it. Drake feels bad for doing his shit, while Joyner and Cole are more realistic; they are sorry, but also recognize that they can't change what they did only grow from it.
