Cliff could make a bass do things you wouldn't think possible. Prime example, when Hetfield and Ulrich first heard this, before Burton joined Metallica, they thought it was a regular 6 string electric guitar played.

Thanks Mike. Favorited this one. I've never seen this particular video. Cliff was simply outstanding and had his best work ahead of him when he passed. So sad. His solo will live on though. I've learned this one (mostly) and I can tell you,...generates comments like 'Impressive' . The tapped harmonics part is tough but worthwhile to learn.

Cliff was such a massive part of the creative process in Metallica, just listen to the first 3 albums and compare them to any body of work after the first 3! Cliff and his classical training are gone from the mix, no more dual guitar harmonies ect ect. Cliff is the GOAT of the Bass imo.

I think they used him as a blood sacrifice. Watch the movie "American Satan", then go research the so called bus accident that killed Cliff, you will see what I mean. Does the bus look like it just rolled multiple times? There was minimal damage to the exterior of the bus. I know it sounds crazy, but with the world being exposed like it is atm to be ran by satanic freaks, is it really that far fetched. Keep an open mind and deep dive Cliff's "Death".
