@stonedruid69 Awesome, It was a great day, happy days, was at the front for most of it, we all went to the back and got drunk and lay down in the mud when Bon Jovi went on as we hate that stuff, i used to have the brain surgery shirt too, it was one of my favs, had loads of shirts at the time, wish i had kept hold of them, worth a fortune now.

Seems some folks are confused about line up, as far as I remember it was, Cinderella, Dio, WASP, Metallica, Anthrax and Bon Jovi, 88 was Guns and Roses, Kiss, Dave Roth, Maiden, Megadeth and only GNR and Maiden Rocked.

I have a record of who played in my 1987 diary and it is as follows:- First on were Cinderella, then WASP, Anthrax, Metallica, Dio and finally, Bon Jovi. The best part of the day (for women at least) was the fact that the band members of Bon Jovi actually paid for decent toilets that were situated in a hangar at the back. I remember going to the blokes toilets as they were the same for them with the usual locked doors..proper cubicles for crying out loud. It was bliss, believe me! Bon Jovi were at the top of their game back then and the fireworks at the end were awesome as well. Great memories!
