Well, if these additional fills and chops would fit the genre and song, maybe, but just maybe, people would appreciate rather than complaining about it. But the truth is, it sound like shit. Just some of the modt generic, all rounder fills you hesr in every catchy pop and rock song, nothing original, nothing muscially appealing, just generic overplaying and acting as if it was super hard and special.
@kevinconnor60355 жыл бұрын
@@slayer8273 It's always the Slayer fans that have to show up and ruin everyone's good time. He's not playing a gig. He's jamming at home and he's not charging admission. Nothing wrong with hamming it up a bit and playing pop fills. Not like any of Metallica's fills are any good in the first place.

To me, he does a great job playing, I wish I could play half as good as he does. But being as good as it is, I'm missing notes here and there, it just doesn't feel like the song to me. Don't get me wrong, it's quite a nice cover-jam-whatever you want to call it, but if it had someone else playing the guitars and bass with adequated tracks to this version, it would feel much better to me. I don't know, I feel like though it's a great playing example, it lacks some beats here and there.

Why would he cry? It’s a terrible cover. He is obviously a really good drummer and his kit sounds great. But there is to many showboating rolls and in a lot of cases it sound nothing like what the drums are supposed to. So I don’t understand your question.
@MrSlowpoke-jn9lv5 жыл бұрын
Rakish Touch Well I have to disagree. I understand people put their own touches on music, and there is nothing wrong with that. But when it goes so far out in left field it’s just not a good choice. And as for your “it’s better than the original” comment, well to me that statement proves you have absolutely zero music credibility. This song is only one of the most famous and covered metal songs ever.
@suhasbv29755 жыл бұрын
@Mr. Slowpoke1975 I totally agree with you. He has overplayed. He would easily get kicked out of the band for sure. Being a musician is not being able to play his/her own instrument to the best of his ability. But to make sure it is not dominating other instruments and the vocals.
