I remember back in 94 when this concert was going to happen. I wanted to go to N.Y. and see the greatest metal band in the world at the time. Metallica was the only reason I wanted to go. It didn't happen but thanks to the awesome person who uploaded this gem of a show, I'm able to see it. Thank You. Made my day.

This is just the only metallica video where everyone knows that lars ulrich is such a EPIC drummer... Hit another and you see people talking like: " lars ulrich sucks" But guys, open your eyes, this drummer made the metal world legendary! Am i just the only one here who thinks Lars is one of the most importants drummers in this world... he made metallica, people who's hating lars, is hating metallica, why? Rock is for everyone, even when your suck, you are used to be friendly to each other....!
@arsxxmoriendi2 жыл бұрын
Lars is not the most technically proficient drummer and his studio work can be kinda sloppy but god damn he was great live in his prime! Great presence for a tiny guy behind a huge kit. His performance was actually fantastic here! Agreed, Lars deserves a little more respect. Fuck they were so goddamn good in their prime here! This is peak Metallica!

I was 11 and my mom told me to turn that shit off (~11:30pm in NYC) when my dad stepped in and told her "this is a once in a lifetime thing, let him have it" She went to bed and my dad watched it with me until the end. I had never heard metallica before (sheltered child) but that day I became a fan.

At 48:12 to 48:25 that little bit kinda sounds like the main riff from Sweet Amber on the St Anger album. Then he goes into the Load song Outlaw Torn (I think) which wasn't even released til 96 lol so he had that riff swirling around for a while. Epic concert btw, a lot of people who weren't originally fans before this concert, left with love and respect for the tallica boys
