Same here. I was on the floor about 20 ft from the rail and everyone around me was just standing there dead still and silent for the most part. Like if that's what you wanna do cool but why not just buy a seat then? I'm glad I can see that there were indeed moshpits elsewhere around the stage in this video. I would've tried to move around a bit more to find them but these people standing still would also not budge for anyone trying to get by. Was definitely a buzzkill to say the least.

Metallica fuckin crushed it last night! Not a song in that set was bad or so-so. They all sounded amazing. I haven't took the time to get into the newest album yet, but the one's they played sounded pretty killer. In their sixties and they can still bring it that good. That was the first time since 98 that I been to see them, and they sounded better than before I think! Definitely the highlight of my year! Pantera wasn't too bad, considering they didn't have Dime or Vinnie.

Lars said last night that their first time in Seattle was in 1985 at either the Moore or Paramount theater. I first saw them in December 1986 less than four months after Cliff passing, that must have been their second visit to Seattle, 38yrs since I first saw them an then last night. I can't believe how much bigger they are now, it's unreal.

I feel bad for the FFDP fan who didnt trust me holding the rail for him! My first time seeing Metallica and first stadium packed to the roof double concert, right on the floor rails and between the hanging speakers was GLORIOUS and so clear! The bagpipes gave me chills it was epic acousyics and amazing stage design by TAIT TOWERS STAGES. Worth it all!

First concert I ever went to was Metallica in 1992 at the Pyramid (before it became the Bass Pro Shops) in Memphis, TN. I'm very fortunate to have seen them again, 32 years later in Seattle. This show was amazing!
