At 4:13 they show the dude standing with Lars holding that Metal Massacre Record from Metal Blade Records in the very beginning of their existence ...I'm almost 60 and collected LP's and the only way you could hear "underground" music was buy compilation LP's such as that one to hear new bands, I bought that same LP there and had never heard of "Mettallica" (that's the way it was spelt on the record) and a buddy and i had just smoked some good Thia weed and were listening to it and I remember looking at Bubba with his eyes hung low and I said "this band is going to be huge!" and he just nodded a very serious yes and ddin't even say anything. I just remember hearing james's voice and the speed of the song was incredible, it was "Hit the lights" I remember it like it was yesterday. Rock on!!

That is such a cool story! Thanks for sharing! It’s so cool that you’ve been a fan since the beginning. Do you still have the LPs that you collected?
@KenY51502 ай бұрын
@@KlaydawgBarks I have most of my records but I don't think I have that still. I had a huge collection and still have classics such as Aerosmith s and the rolling stones first LP's and still have the double record of motorheads greatest hits in the real leather cover, I keep it in plastic and it still smells like leather. I got the first four ACDC records that are still in perfect condition, most of Ted Nugent's records and those are still in great condition, Lynyrd skynyrd's double LP one more from the road and so many more got them packed in the suitcases...lol. I love iron maiden so I got like their first five LPS that are all still in good conditions even with the ones with Paul singing and I probably got about eight of their really cool picture disc that have like only been played once so I could record them
That's me! My goal is to get the five people listed as members of "Mettallica" to sign it - so far I have James, Lars, Ron, and Dave....just need to get "Llyod" to sign :)

It sounds pretty good through a little cell phone a mile away here. Idk. A bitter man might see this kickass setup and wanna talk some shit haha
@alanrasmussen40972 ай бұрын
I had been to every show Metallica has had in WA since 85'. Best sounding was the 89' shows in the Seattle Center Colosseum, a close second would be the Mercer Street Arena show in 86'. (Metal Church opened that one.) I had thought the worst sounding show was the Monsters of Rock show in the Kingdome, but the last tour when they played The Link/Lumen Field, the sound was even worse than the Kingdome show. Wasn't going to pay $$$ for that crap this time around. The outdoor shows in The Gorge and at Memorial Stadium were cool and sounded good. But the best 'Tallica show in WA was in Aberdeen when they played a private show for a buddy who won a contest on MTV. That was some crazy shit. A stadium/Lumen Field "specifically designed" to amplify crowd noise is probably one of the worst places to have a concert. So I don't think it is just MegaDave's stooges talking smack, the complaints are legit. The Death Magnetic show sounded awesome in Key Arena. Just an honest opinion of an OG metalhead.
