Attila from Mayhem said that they werent asked if this could happen, understanding they had no control over the film, but this music video went too far and they were offended. Reason being; imagine if Mayhem did the same with Cliff Burton.

This song is fucking awesome. From the sublime bass intro, to the pitch-shifting chorus that almost catches you off guard (I love how "Quest to find" comes from out of nowhere), to the odd jam that breaks out at 3:15 (complete with awesome echo-y vocals), to the unexpected surprise at 4:29... Just a fantastic, unique, and surprisingly complex song. It took several listens for me to truly appreciate it.

@Илья Куценко the reason I made this comment is because that is what fans of Mayhem and their vocalist "Dead" would expect to see. yes Dead in fact was "obsessed by death" and would smell a dead crow for the "stench of death" and even cut himself on stage during live performances.
