For real, I don't think there's a more respected figure in all of music than Lemmy. No one ever had a bad thing to say about him (and if they did, it was more of a reflection on that person). He kept it real and stayed true to himself from the day he was born until the day he left this earth to get his seat back in heaven. Rock in Peace, Lem.

This song is heavily HEAVILY underrated. I found this just a few days ago. Had no idea they did a tribute to the one and only legend Lemmy. This is why I love Metallica. They do tributes and honor other bands/groups. The video is beautiful too, this song isn't just a song. It's a story which makes me love this song even more. The rhythm, the solo, the lyrics just mesh so well together. It's criminal how overlooked this song is

Lemmy had “Murder One” written on his bass amp. I love Metallica for this great tribute. RIP Lemmy. I loved Metallica from the start and Motörhead from the beginning. Somewhere Lemmy is raising a glass of Jack to this. I love this. Thanks Metallica. Motörhead were and still are my favourite band but Metallica come a very close second, seen them live many times.They, like Motörhead, put on a fucking good show, make you’re ears ring and just make you feel pure exhilaration. I was a speed freak like Lemmy was for many years “you’re in the snake pit baby, there’s a lot of it about”. This is so fucking good. Only Metallica are fit to memorialise Lemmy.
@restojon13 жыл бұрын
I was lucky enough to see Motorhead several times, starting at the old Town and Country in Kentish Town which later became the forum. Still THE loudest band I've ever heard, every time I saw them I'd be ears ringing for 7 to 10 days after. At the first one I bought that T Shirt that says "everything louder than everything else". It still holds true. Nobody was ever louder than Lemmy walking on stage, dragging his flattened hand across all the control knobs on his amp so everything was maxed out and just letting rip, usually followed by punching his bass at the end of the show and leaving it stood (pickups facing in) towards his cab for the most stomach churning feedback you ever heard. A wonderful showman to the end. A part of me thought he was unable to die you know, after the abuse that man had put his body through over the years you'd have thought he was immortal. When he went, the world was all wrong. It was bad enough when Philthy went. I'd like to say rest in peace but wherever that wonderful bunch are now, you can guarantee it stopped being peaceful about 12 seconds after they arrived.

By far, the best band to have ever walked this earth and always will be. Did Lemmy absolute justice with this song. Been their biggest fan since 1989. I remember hearing For Whom the Bell Tolls on 98 Rock, in Baltimore, when I was younger. It wasn't until ...And Justice For All and I had reached an age where I could have my own mind. I was 7 lol. But, they spoke directly to me. I remember the debut of One, on MTV. My parents were big into Black Sabbath and Rush, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, you name it, CCR, everything that was good about music. Somehow, my sister ended up listening to shit like, The New Kids on the Block and MC. Hammer and shit. I could get into some of that stuff but it didn't have the same effect as Metallica did, on myself. I was all about Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, all of it. Sorry, I wrote so much but, with the passing of Chris Cornell a few days ago, I felt a little need to share. Metallica and their family are my idols. RIP Cliff, Kurt, Chris, Lemmy, Prince, Jimi, Janice, Layne, Peter, it goes on.... You all got me this far in life and I thank every single one of you. Thank you, sincerely.

I love how people said this is Reload, but this album seems nothing like Reload, people just make a ''trend insult'' to Metallica, it's hilarious! There's only one song that actually sounds like Reload/Load. And by the way, if you think Load and Reload are shit music, then you are probably such a close minded person.
