I’ve always thought this song was so underrated. Great bass line, harmony guitars, that Black Album toms and crash sound, and such a melodic solo and breakdown.

The best part of this for me isn't just that James got the audience to sing IN HARMONY, but his reaction to it. To have fans like that after so many years clearly means the world to him.

I don't how but just today I thought you guys were gonna drop a Black Album song reaction due to it's 30th anniversary...and I thought the most cool one would be Misery
@Jarrik733 жыл бұрын
Somehow my mind could not process that the Black Album is 30 years old. Got it hot off the racks at 18, the very first CD I ever bought. A little older, a little heavier, none the wiser, and still love Metallica.
@Blitzyduder3 жыл бұрын
@@Jarrik73 How true man, has it really been 30 years? I was 13 and this too was my very first CD that I just had to own and buy with my hard earned paperroute money. Bought it together with the rage against the machine album and was set for a metal holiday. The black album still sounds so fucking good on my car stereo and is permanently stuck in my metal playlist.

That was the main reason I sent this one through because of the 30 year anniversary and this is my favorite one live

This has always been my favourite song off 'The Black Album'. Partly because I took up the bass as a teenager and I loved that it was a bass-lead song.

Just another Metallica gig... This is what happens at one of those gigs. It is this kind of stuff why you need to go see the live act. You get to feel it all!

I'm always left with kind of a sad feeling when I see Jason's song preformed by Rob although it al sounds great. The smile comes when you see James really making the crowd part of the song giving the song and Jason some extra love.

Gotto give Newsted cred for writing this bass riff though
@adamdunbar82603 жыл бұрын
@@Blitzyduder totally. Newsted is a hell of a bass player. I have nothing but respect for him. But that SOCAL bass fraternity with Trujillo, Burton, Flea and a ton of punk guys and tons more jazz guys are untouchable. And Harris is outstanding. I loved Trujillo when he was with Suicidal and infectious grooves

The idea of that album being 'remastered' fills me with dread. It's one of the most perfectly produced albums ever, and I hate the thought that they would get Greg Fidelman to brickwall it and ruin the dynamics. I may be wrong, but I definitely have concerns.
