You can hear Load all over this in retrospect. Bleeding Me and Outlaw Torn are basically extended versions of this type of song.

this is a song a lot of people sleep on, for some reason. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Black album (yes, I grew up on the earlier thrashier albums), but this one is one of my favorites. Thanks for breaking it down!

The bass in this really showcased Jason's talents, he's a PHENOMENAL BASSIST and musician. And as always KIRK "THE RIPPER" HAMMETT IS ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING ON THE GUITAR SOLOS. He makes the guitar speak to you and then screams and cries out bars without words. At around 8:30ish, it gave me vibes of Jimmy Hendrix the way he was using the pedals, just AMAZING. There aren't many guitarists out there that can even hold a candle to Kirk when he's in the pocket and just SHREDDING it out. Been my favorite band for 35yrs, and they're still killin it to this day.
