@Timothy Le i think the word you're looking for is ARPEGGIO he is playing ARPEGGIO's so..... Nothing else matters is a song constructed by CHORDS when you play the NOTES in a chord one at a time it is called and ARPEGGIO and it is referred to as "ARPEGGIATING A CHORD" so.. instead of FINGERSTYLE, say ARPEGGIO AND.. he is playing notes the way it works is like this we hear sound in the spectrum of sound there are notes MUSIC is the logical organising of these notes the notes are organised based on their resonant frequency the notes are given Names (or letters, if you prefer) this naming convention gives us our MUSICAL ALPHABET (aka A B C D E F G) (i'll skip the entire subject of intervals and octaves and so on) then we get to , NOTES FORM SCALES and from these scales WE HAVE CHORD CONSTRUCTION that how you get from a note to a chord and after that the way a song is made is by using multiple chords to create CHORD PROGRESSIONS so you see IF HE IS PRODUCING A SOUND, HE MUST BE PLAYING SOME NOTE hehe and Fingerstyle, be it Spanish Guitar or whatever it's all referred to as an ARPEGGIO MUSIC LESSON IS OVER YOU OWE ME $80 have a nice day LOL
