The massive crowd roar you hear at about 6:30 is when the rain started, and it ended right as the song did. They were calling for rain all day, but it only rained for the solo and outro of One. I'll never forget it as long as I live. What a night.

I think the Load/ReLoad era sound was so brutal, James had a phenomenal voice at this time, and Jason’s backing vocals were awesome too. I wish I knew what amps they used, I know they are Mesas but I don’t know what the specific amp itself is.

Yes that storm couldn’t have been better planned it was epic. I look back and this is my favorite Metallica concert that I was at. Maybe because I was at the 4th row from the stage in that crowd or it was my first time seeing them but I was blown away by them that day.
