Love the chug at 1:35 - 2:02. I think I genuinely prefer your crunchy, compressed tone to the original, specifically on that part. Really brings out the cold, dark, mechanical nature of the riff. Fantastic cover, as always
@nikolaibelenski971610 жыл бұрын
What just happened?!Really sick cover!How long did it take to learn it?
@Go17Gabe10 жыл бұрын
The intro is really easy. Very similar to Fade to Black.
@nikolaibelenski971610 жыл бұрын
Yea i know i am actually new to tapping starting to realize that its very easy!
@Go17Gabe10 жыл бұрын
NIKOLAI BELENSKI Yeah but Fade to Black is difficult in one way, it's fast. Or at least for a newbie.
@nikolaibelenski971610 жыл бұрын
I am actually learning this solo called afterlife from a7x.If you know about it, i don't think there are a lot of things left on the guitar fast enough for me.
@lpa7xmam96210 жыл бұрын
NIKOLAI BELENSKI I love A7X, and yes, SYN can play really fast, but there's faster solos than Afterlife, like Second Heartbeat or I Won't See You Tonight Part 2
@lpa7xmam96210 жыл бұрын

@billy6668 The theory or style of playing is referred to as "tapping". I have also heard it referred to as "neck tapping/strumming". This is where you either take your pointer finger and strum the bottom strings with the tip of the finger or use a pick for a more precise sound. Judging by how fast this solo is I recommend you strum with the tip of your finger because it's faster than a pick. If you need a song reference this style is used in Eddie van halens eruption

@Reetunator its either an NTB or a KH-2 its definately not a 202 or 602 cos if you look at the ESP website for the heads and watch his MOP video the head matches the NTB or the KH-2

@kingsilas I've "played" guitar for almost 15 years but am still pretty terrible. I love KillrBuckeye's videos. You can see exactly what's going on and they sound great. He also mixes the sound perfectly. You can hear the original song, but what he's playing stands out. Even if I'm not good enough to learn by watching them, it's still a blast.
@H20Sparda14 жыл бұрын
@MetallMania717 he does use the pick in they solo , if you mean the tapping just use the cprner of your pick , its really easy you'll get it in no time :)

@999m4em i know what you mean but in gh the precision needed is annoying , in gh metallica its grand i dont fc it but i beat it , as in real life you dont have to be spot on if you et me , this solo is fun as hell to play , i just need to get that section from 40 - 46 and then i have it :)
@crazycodkiller11 жыл бұрын
To make it clear: At the tapping part there are 6 notes per beats? Which means: 19t 15p12 19t 15p12 right?

@guitarpicknick Nah... a wah pedal wouldn't change the pitch, thats a whammy pedal.... he just bends the 22nd fret D note up to the 24th fret E. This does work if your guitar has only 22 frets too.
