I was at a Monsters of rock in 87. Kingdom Come Metalica. Dokken. Scorpions. Van Halen The stage grew as each band finished and removed their equipment. How many of those bands still exist?

What’s amazing is how normal they all are, or were. They had tremendous talent and drive, and then came the opportunity that many don’t get. 40 years later they are wise ageing men; clearly they are well read and humble about what they achieved. Hope for us all

My mom grew up in WW2 Germany. She had a saying about Jagermeister. If you had a hard night of drinking the night before you would drink a shot in the morning. If you kept it down you were good to go. If not, you're done for 24.
