METALLICA Remastered Bootleg: THE GIG THAT SHOULD NOT BE? (1987) - Live debut of LEPER MESSIAH!

An old Metallica bootleg: THE GIG THAT SHOULD NOT BE? (1987). I've mastered the sound from a fragmented dodgy old tape I've owned for years. I taped a copy from a copy that someone lent me back in the old bedsit days (early 90s). I've removed all the hiss and hum as far as possible without killing the energy. I think the sound is better now than any other audio/video copies of this gig out there? It includes the first live performance of LEPER MESSIAH and loads of live stuff from the original GARAGE DAYS record. I guess it must be one of Jason Newsted's first shows with Metallica.
The original recording is from a secret gig at The 100 club, London 20/08/87, where Metallica billed themselves as Damage Inc. You'll soon find out why it's titled what it's titled:) 0:25:10 for Leper Messiah live debut. 0:47:07 for Garage Days tracks. *See video image for full track listing.

This sounds super raw and i fucking love it. Master of Puppets album i love and is my favorite live era of Metallica they played with such energy and ferocity during the 1986 and 1987 tour. Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets are similar in sound and some day they are sister albums. The first five Metallica albums and those years they toured were metal magic and the band captured lightning in a bottle (no pun intended). The Ride the Lightning and MOP deluxe box sets i want badly. Thank you for uploading this!

The video for this concert is where you shoulda took the audio from this rough. I mean no disrespect on the work u put in you did great for what u had to work with. The video does exist and the audio is much better then the cassette ever was.

Do you have a version with the hiss? Because taking out the hiss takes away some of the quality

I dare you to find the original version and find more 'quality' in it than this. I worked harder on this recording than I should have done. It was (the original) just beyond proper repair.
