More Metallica! Seems like that's all I post these days, but for good reason since the new Metallica album "72 Seasons" is finally out!
They really like these long intros and outros it seems, but with grooves like these I don't really mind. This song was also a great opportunity to introduce my new (to me) ESP Custom Shop Surveyor to the channel!

For Metallica covers I like the sound of ESP more, than that Warwick in a previous play through. It fits much better! 🙂

Hey Paajanenae, Great bass cover and awesome recording quality. I also saw your other covers of the new album of Metallica. Iam thinking of getting a bass guitar and I have not tested any in the store yet but would you recommend a 4 string or 5 string mainly for Metallica songs to cover? I saw you used 4 strings for the Metallica cover here. Thank you very much!

A 4-string will get you really far! I'm not exactly sure where Rob uses the 5th string but none of the songs I worked on use the 5th string and the same goes for a lot of the classic stuff! Any Jazz Bass style model from Squier, Grassroots, Tokai or Schecter will be a great choice. Avoid models with dual-coil pickups aka humbuckers unless they're the Music Man style. Have fun!

Teeppä joskus jos aikaa ja kiinnostusta on, niin sellainen "in depht" pätkä. Missä näytät miten teet cover projektin alusta loppuun. Näkis vähän sun tekniikoita editoidessa ja miksauksessa. Vois oppia jotain uutta. Anteeksi etukäteen haha
