Honestly, I love Quebec. And I know this comment will probably never be seen, but I have to say it. The culture and spirit of every french speaking Canadian is what inspired me to go into french immersion. Now I can speak the language, and I feel connected to a culture that lies across the country ( I live in BC ). I hate that some people don't see that, and don't take the time to acknowledge each and every part of what makes Canada a beautiful place, not just all the mainstream stuff. Without this, without Quebec, our country couldn't be the same. I wish people would notice that.

@waitwho30747 жыл бұрын
I've seen way worse, trust me... After E-C are wondering why so many F-C want to have their own country... As a french canadian, when I see these kind of comments, it doesn't makes me want to be ''nice'' with them and even I find that it just reinforces the feeling for some F-C to hate them even more. Also even for some who don't see any rivalry between us, with comments like these, they don't help their cause. It's more the opposite.

Cody Williams, with all due respect, you're mistaking rock and metal, but even then, Detroit is becoming less and less a rock city and more and more a gravel city. The whole place is falling apart! Besides, Metallica and Quebec always had something special. Detroit can't even compare. The band did a similar video for Detroit and it got 24k views... This one is heading for 125k views.

So if you don't really know what's going on with the comment section read this: There is (sadly) some kind of hate thrown out because of the history Quebec had. Sadly, some people (AND THIS IS NOT EVERYBODY) are hating 'French Canadians' and wants to show their hate because of some events that happened like 257 years ago (basically when british people conquered the 'Nouvelle-France') which opposed French people and British people. THIS IS PAST BY THE WAY. Now we are a beautiful country and we should : 'Turn the things that makes us hate eachother to the things that makes us proud to be together.' Yes we have different languages and different cultures, but why not use these caracteristics to remind us how special Canada is. I think we could make things go forward more if we just all think that way. We're together. We're not against eachother! Sincerely, -From a 'French Canadian' (We don't really use these names anymore it was more like 150 years ago when we were not a country yet)

I have the great gift of speaking two languages and I have, and can share so much culture and backround that others don't have but can have the chance to. We have rich culture and we should all be proud. The fighing is for no reason and alot of the people are just plain haters.

Xerxes2005 What impact did you have on the rest of Canada?
@Xerxes20057 жыл бұрын
Well, first, we pretty much explored and mapped most of the country and North America. Ever heard of Jacques Cartier, Samuel de Champlain, Louis Jolliet, Cavelier de La Salle, La Vérendrye, etc? If you want to know what impact we had on this country, well, just open a history book! You'll find that a huge, huge chunk of it is either in Québec or about Quebeckers. Also, most of canadian symbols are from us (even the name was ours!). The maple leaf? Us. The beaver? Us. The national anthem? Yes, us again. Even the Hudson's Bay Company, which was founded by Pierre-Esprit Radisson and Médard Chouart des Groseilliers. Let's not talk about cuisine... You are so desperate that you have to borrow us our poutine! And how many elected Prime Ministers were from Québec since the last war? Six on 11, who lead this country 48 years on 72 years (66%). But of course, since they are Quebeckers, they had no impact on Canada... How typical.
