@@ironmilton You guys were so lucky !! I've seen him with Maiden just after Chemical Wedding , when he came back in 99 , and many times since . But never performing his solo stuff from AOB and CW . They did a terrible job of promoting this tour in the states . Didn't even know he was touring .
@ironmilton6 ай бұрын
@@SJ-ty5rw I believe Bruce’s only US show for this tour was in Santa Ana California on April 15th and the Whisky a Go Go gigs were last minute additions on April 12th and 13TH respectively. Bruce said himself he plans on returning to do like a full US tour next year! But yea the promotion may not have been the best, I had only found out because on Spotify it said he had announced a show near me lol and fortunately it was before tickets went on sale. The first 3 shows were phenomenal. Bruce sounds incredible and he's firing away like a man half his age. Bruce is clearly having a blast!
@coloneltrumpman9 ай бұрын
Roy Z used to write and arrange their solo songs for Bruce's voice, whereas Harris writes whatever he does, backing parts and vocal melodies and expects Bruce to "deal with it" and sing it. That's why his voice sounds way better and he enjoys singing his solo stuff way more.
@lightdancedesigns9 ай бұрын
Exactly. And while I love Maiden, what you said about Steve is the one thing that makes me crazy. He has one of the world's greatest metal vocalists in his pocket, and yet, he doesn't take full advantage of that. Ugh!
@klaskycsupo5810-q3b8 ай бұрын
Roy Z collaborated but did not simply write and arrange everything. Same with Maiden. Steve writes most of it but since it’s sounds better than Bruce’s solo stuff I’d say it works that way.

what I noticed from the first 2 shows was that he didn't fuck up the lyrics. That seems rare these days with Maiden's first few shows.
