This is something I absolutely LOVE cause I used to come up with what-if scenarios all the time when playing Dragon Ball fighting games & would basically frame some of my battles around such scenarios, so it would be awesome to actually be able to realize such scenarios! For example, how did Future Goku's fight with Future Mecha Frieza and Future King Cold actually go down (only Dokkan Battle has done that scenario as alot of games omit Mecha Frieza)! This feature has so much potential its insane!

This is exactly the kind of thing I like. If I knew this was in the game earlier, I'd maybe have bought it. What-if ideas for someone else to try; Chaotzu doesn't self destruct against Nappa. How does the fight play out until Goku arrives and how it effects the fight against Vegeta? Ginyu steals Freiza's body and kills him. How does this alter the events of the fights with Freiza? Future Trunks goes too far back in time and instead intercepts Vegeta on his way to recovery from his defeat on Earth. Trains him to become Super Saiyan. Raditz and Nappa revived after Freiza's death. Dr.Gero's instead uses them to make Android/Cyborgs to defeat Goku.

My favorite part in particular is that you can add custom trigger events, for example: Block transformation for AI opponent Once AI opponent hp drops below 50% transform to ssj gain a bar of hp gain +50% damage go hyper tension mode. You could have for example ssgss Goku die and revive as UI omen as a boss battle with his stats buffed.
