New game + is a little odd, you keep job levels, and i don't think you need to spend mag a second time, but you do have to reunlock all archetypes. No end game jobs at the beginning of the game.

Persona is an all time great RPG but the way Metaphor implements personas concepts and improve them with some Shin Megami Tensei too oooweee.... Its better by far

In my opinion, the game is mid so far. The battle system is just the Soul Hackers 2 Battle System with a mix of Etrian Odyssey via the rows. You can't swap "personas" mid battle, so if you have the wrong type, you'll just have to restart or try and slug through it. For something that seemed like it was trying to be different from persona, it has ended up being too similar imo. You can't call it the "third piller" with it being a single game. It's also quite rude to Etiran Odyssey, the true third piller.

So far it is good, but there is too much "illusion of choice" going on for my liking. Also they really need to do something about these localizers. You're enjoying a poorly localized game, not badly localized, just below what I'd consider "competent" because of this there are many times that are meant to have more impact that fall far shorter than they should have. This is due in large part to activist localizers. Also I do take so minor issue with the story as intended. For example they don't go far enough on the cultural differences of the different tribes. While physically different, and some rather superficial cultural differences, these are pretty much intended to be all relatively similar tribes. This makes the unification of the tribes idea much more plausible, and far less an "extreme" an idea as is painted in the game.

@@Raigazero1 Either Atlus will walk this tightrope of making almost a bad game or they will get progressively worse and go full Ubisoft. I'm a fan of the company, have been for decades, hence the criticism. If Atlus were to take your advice and say to the fans "go screw yourselves" Well. Like I said. They'd be going full Ubisoft.
