We do not know yet, but judjing by timer for demo -should be few bad endings like not making in time to final boss, day of calamity first one for sure. Like in p5r then you not secure treasure -game over.

I played the demo prologue and I loved it. But my gripe with this series and other turn based games are the dungeons are too long. :/ sucks but of course ill still play it day one on game pass

Yea that was a rude awakening for me too. I’m really mad that when Xbox 1st announced Metaphor in their showcased they clearly stated it was Day One on Gamepass. I guess Atlus at some point behind the scenes told Microsoft, Woahhhh there, no it will not ! 😂 Maybe within a year it’ll be on Gamepass officially, let’s see 🤷🏽‍♂️

Any group of ideas believed by a group of people can be a religion but that’s what makes it dangerous because you can attack the minds of many people simultaneously. Flip side to that though is that it’s also the best way for a large group to motivate and create change at a substantial level. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I have a feeling this game is going to address this very topic. Can’t wait man!

There is absolutely no way to 100% this on a single run because you'd have to do "everything", including all quests, and some quests are designed to expire (despite the rewards being generic item and some gold), but they probably played until the final boss skipped the end game sh!t and wrote the review

The only gripe i have with this review is that the Reviewer wants this game to be political. (as in, discussing or treating modern day political realities) Atlus, has quite clearly said the game was not about politics but ideology. To quote from Yuichiro Tanaka : "“We have no political agenda or message that we want to push. [The election] is a tool that we decided to use to convey the story that we want. In this fantasy world, if there were to be an election [with] magic, [we thought about] how people would react to it, what people would think, and what people would do to better the future for themselves? We essentially took this concept as a motif to push our story to the forefront. We hope that separating from that political agenda or message, people get to enjoy this election perspective as a tool within this fantasy story." With that said, kudos to him for admiting the game is not about politics ^^

Why do reviewers never criticise ps2 level design in reviews? Genuinely asking. Always see this overlooked, it clearly looks archaic as hell, stuck 2-3 gens ago in terms of design, a lot of the rest of the games looks intriguing to me, but I’m so put off by the way the levels look and “feel” here, just looks barren. Art style is praised but the art design completely falls flat when areas look flat with smudgy textures and simplistic looking levels. Just because paths are winding with lots of exploration doesn’t mitigate this.

i agree with this i do think the game is about a 9.5 after playing the demo but the overworld is ugly af i'll dock 5 points for that.p3 reload looks better then this. its a very jrpg trope to make the environments so bland and crusty. and tbh i think it puts off new ppl to playing these type of games. these days ur game needs to be more modernized. but i will purchase the game at some point i like atlus games its just i have way too many games for another 100+ jrpg.

I would have given the game a try if there wouldn't be that art style combined with I guess a graphics engine that did not age too well. And yes, these things matter to me. If what I see on my screen is something I do not enjoy looking at, then I will not enjoy playing dozens of hours while looking at it.

I'm a Final Fantasy fan... A REAL FAN. Weeks ago this game was not even in my radar (Persona series does not reach to me, like every "high school drama"). For no particular reason install the demo and give it a try... and HOLY $ H 1 T!!! I just waiting a game like this for almost 20 years. I have a little more than of 21hs into the demo and I'm not joking... this single demo is far better than every single game released for Square Enix in decades.

@@elbuglione I've been enjoying FF since it's rivalry with Phantasy Star, the last FF I truly enjoyed was 16, but that's more for it's story beats, protagonist, voice work and amazing eidolon spectacles. A traditional FF it is not, but it was grand for me, actually my second favourite FF behind FF6. Not sure what you mean by "REAL FAN".
