Have you forgotten that if Sukuna can attack the soul, isn't it possible for him to kill Kars even if he ate the fingers? To make this more specific, the main reason why Yuuji was able to contain Sukuna wasn't his body, but his soul. Or to be more precise, the ability to tell the difference between his own soul and Sukuna's. Vessels that are able to contain his power only occur once every thousand years or so, so Kars would definitely be able to do that. However, it actually boils down not to if Kars can withstand that power, because he certainly can, but if he can stop Sukuna's soul from taking over his body. And I doubt that Kars could stop that. If Kars was to eat Sukuna, that would be the end of all life in the universe because Kars would obviously not know how to do this unless he knows Yuuji.

Current thoughts for me are Pistol Shrimp, which can closer their claws fast enough to produce a sound at 218 decibels, which also produces a jet of water that reaches temps of 8000 degrees Fahrenheit, four times hotter than the lava Kars was submerged in. Since Kars was able to scale up the wings of a bird and have them function the same at his size, sizing up a Pistol Shrimp's claw doesn't seem that unreasonable. Add in the square cube law and god almighty that would be devastating.

I think a major reason people have a misunderstanding of Kars being "weak" is because they only watched the anime, where his abilities are moreso shown than described. As such, they see he has insane regeneration, can transmute his flesh into animals plus animal bodyparts, and of course is now immune to sunlight, but the upper scale of his capabilities gets glossed over.

tbh this is just not true. Kars fought hamon users for literal centuries prior. Its not like he adapted to Hamon after seeing joseph using it once (he even saw Joseph and Lisa Lisa use it prior to the volcano fight). Kars had prior knowledge of hamon. He knew how it worked and how it was utilized, he simply never tried to utilize hamon because it would kill him (as we see with Straits). Saying he could see a technique be used once and master it 100x stronger is just not exactly true. At least, not true based on his hamon usage.

Its incredibly consistent to use just to demonstrate how many matchups are dumb and bound to the verse's rules. Now that I think about it... If your cursed technique is somewhat based on genetics, Kars could very well adapt his own genes until he gets a busted one. And if even Nanami could protect his soul subconsciously, I argue Kars could do the same and even understand how to do it. The main issue is whether he would survive long enough to do all of these things against Sukuna (I think he would, because Sukuna doesn't like to end his fights without having fun). Also this depends on whether Kars even has access to cursed energy in the first place, and I think there's a really good chance he would. If I remember correctly l, only the japanese people do (sorcerers or not), and with Kars intellect/understanding of living beings, I think he would know how to alter himself in order to have cursed energy. Sukuna would find this interesting, and maybe even use more of his techniques that we currently don't know to combat this. Man this fight would be so cool

One thing i need to add to the discussion is that people usually overlook the part qhere Kars has the abilities of ALL life forms 100x stronger than the original. So even if you manage to HIT him, he is immune to fire, immune to cold, immune dto radiation, poisonous, venomous, can multiply, can regenerate, is completely immortal...how do you even damage him? In JoJoverse, the soul is very, very close to the body. Any changes to the body will affect the soul, and vice versa. Like how Dio being a vampire, and his body's strength directly affect his stand's strength. I'd guess Kars being the ultimate lifeform probably ALSO made his soul one of the toughest things in the verse. Not as much as manipulate it over how tough it is. And I think based on that, he could probably survive for a decent while, enough to injure Sukuna a single time. And if that happens, since sorcery is based on genetics, I'm willing to bet he'd be able to copy sorcery from his blood and then upgrade it instantly and then beat Sukuna. Basically if his soul is strenghtened enough to survive a few strong cleaves and hurts sukuna once he wins, even with Mahoraga, cause Mahoraga adapts to enemies attacks, Sukuna doesn't. And Kars can basically create several different animals and gang on Sukuna, eventually catching him offguard. However, if his soul gets hurt enough from a few strong cleaves, Sukuna might win.

Few notes here: 1. Sukuna's TARGET was space and the earth, meaning he didn't necessarily cut through it directly, it was just his target. 2. Kars' strength was equivelant and surpassing the world CONCURRENTLY, AKA before stands became basic usage and before vampires like DIO popped up once more. There is no statement proving Kars constantly gets stronger depending on the world's current state. 3. Cursed Energy is negative energy, it's basically if you flipped Hamon right on it's head, it is complete NEGATIVE ENERGY. Meaning unless Kars can learn to control negative energy, or distructive energy or death energy, he can't control sukuna's abilities in the slightest. 4. Sukuna was only able to slash mahito because mahito was in sukuna's innate domain. Basically an Innate Domain is a different dimension with ONLY your soul being there. Though now that I think about it, if we count Megkuna, Mahoraga would definitely be able to adapt to land soul slicing slashes at Mahoraga, so yeah. 5. Eating Sukuna wouldn't make you Sukuna's vessel, that only happened because sukuna BECAME A CURSED OBJECT THAT TOOK OVER A VESSEL WHEN EATEN. It's custom conditions, not a gaurantee. One would have to argue, is biological manipulation equal to soul manipulation? I don't think it is, because otherwise it would automatically give Kars omnipotence over soul manipulation too, since he is basically omnipotent over biological manipulation specifically regarding living beings, and if he does have "soul manipulation omnipotence", then he surely could resist any soul-direct attacks and soul-manipulating hacks. Yeah, Perfect Kars would fold any who opposes him like a fucking deck chair. The only reason he was defeated was because of two reasons; 1.) Kars got arrogant with his powers and fell for Joseph's little mind games, causing him to get launched into space. Yes, I know Joseph didn't plan for that part specifically, but it Joseph was partially responsible, mainly due to how he instinctively raised the Red Stone of Aja to Kars, which caused the volcano they were on to erupt. 2.) To all the Sukuna meatriders: Kars wins 1. Fuga/Fire arrow won't do anything to Kars. He literally tanked an active volcano and came out of the lava just to surprise attack Joseph. Not to mention Kars has adapted Hamon which has the same firepower as the literal sun. (Kars didn't even train it, he just looked at it, copied it, and used it). 2. You might be thinking Sukuna's domain might be a problem. But Kars has an adapted version of every lifeform on Earth (about 100x at that). Also not to mention, Kars is effectively immortal. Kars has 500 IQ (Yes its stated in the show). He would easily outsmart Sukuna. Hypothetical: Sukuna uses Mahoraga to adapt to Kars Counterpoint: Adapt to what? Kars' arsenal is basically unending so Mahoraga wouldn't be able to adapt to anything specific. What about Hamon? Well Mahoraga would indeed adapt to Hamon IF he survives the fact that Kars can literally oneshot Mahoraga using base Hamon. It will cut through Mahoraga like butter. Final Point (Might be disproven): Hypothetically, Kars SHOULD be able to gain stands. And stands will heavily impact the battle, and might even Negative Diff Sukuna. (Though this is hypothetical as we don't know if Kars can gain stands, but he should, if you remember that Hamon and Stands are somewhat connected) Conclusion: Kars wins, Sukuna MIGHT win if he catches Kars by surprise with a Malevolent Shrine. The thing is, mahoraga can adapt to *any phenomenon*. This means that he will, yes, adapt to anything Kars throws at him. And its important to note that the simpler an attack is, the faster mahoraga's adaptation is as well. Since Kars has no way to instantly destroy mahoraga (no living being on earth has the power required to destroy a 4m tall meat monster protected by cursed energy), Mahoraga would eventually adapt to all of kars' tricks, including hamon. Also, kars would definitely *not* have a stand, since stands are not from earth. Kars can realistically copy most things he sees (he would probably be able to sense/figure out how cursed energy works) but this does not mean he'd have all the intrinsic knowledge required to utilize it to its full potential (he'd have no way of knowing how barriers work, how to expand domains or how RCT works at a first glance). These are all things he'd be able to figure out as the fight went on if he was able to perceive CT in its entirety, but its still a stretch, as we have no previous example of a person not imbued with cursed energy being able to sense it.

Sukuna folds Kars so hard it's not even funny. Ultimate-Lifeform Kars couldn't do anything against Sukuna. Right from the start, in terms of raw power, UL Kars literally CANNOT harm Sukuna, as he is stated to have a grip strength of 900kg/cm² and a jump power of 18 meters (supposing that these stats don't take into account Hamon/Ripple enhancement, I will address this possibility a bit later); it's sad to say that but this is a ridiculously-low level of strength to put against the JJK verse in general and far, far, far more when it's against Sukuna (and I'm merely talking about his 15-fingers form) who was very casually passing through buildings and jumping hundreds of meters in Shibuya. Being generous and saying that each of Kars's attacks (bodily modifications and living creations) generate the same amount of strength output as Kars's main body, not a single one of them would be enough to simply scratch Sukuna. Going by that, it's kinda pointless to continue the discussion but I'm still gonna continue. Kars's speed (with his wings) was stated to be about 240 km/h; Sukuna, even in his 15-fingers form, is MASSIVELY faster than that (perception-blitzed seasoned sorcerers during Shibuya, as well as Ryu - a high-scaling character in the verse who can go toe-to-toe with Yuta (second to Gojo in the modern era) who out-scales Maki which defeated a massively hypersonic vengeful spirit, despite the Mach 3 statement - which is still vastly superior to Kars's speed anyway lol). Once again being (really) generous to Kars, it's possible that he wouldn't get perception- or speed-blitzed with the addition of his special eyes and Hamon enhancement (he still can't catch up with this speed in any way though). Kars needed to protect himself from mere lava, while 15F Sukuna literally mops the floor with a character that can create an entire volcano as well as launch hypercondensed lava beams on a whim. Now we also have Kars's ability to use Hamon, and Kars's Hamon is stated to be 100 times stronger than Joseph's: we know that normal Hamon allows its user to break rocks and bricks but not substances as solid as metal; even multiplying this by a hundred comes nowhere near Sukuna's raw strength (even a 3-fingers non-serious Sukuna can easily break through buildings and jump more than 50 meters high). I'd add to this that, even considering that the Red Stone of Ajax represents a "hax", Kars still couldn't one-shot or reaction-blitz Joseph and even got blasted away from an explosion that didn't provoke any visible injuries to Joseph; and then Kars just got blasted into space by volcanic fragments... I'm sorry but with this level of feats, even Jogo (the Volcano Curse) would make Kars dirty. I'm ngl Kars couldn't even hope to defeat Culling Game players with that level of strength and speed (although they couldn't kill him for the most part). And I didn't even needed to talk about Sukuna's hax abilities (innate cursed technique, 10-Shadow cursed technique with notably Mahoraga's adaptation ability, Black Box arsenal, lightning cursed tool, Domain Expansion, reality-shattering ability that can be imbued into his cursed techniques), let alone what it would be to put Kars up against the power of a 20-fingers Sukuna. Now a more interesting question: would Sukuna be able to concretely kill Kars? It's very likely that he could: even in the case where his new reality-slashing ability wouldn't be able to prevent Kars from regenerating (which isn't impossible), his basic Dismantle technique is able to thoroughly dismantle his target in tiny pieces, and the higher his output the smaller the pieces (as shown during his "fight" against the Finger Bearer). So, granted that Kars can only regenerate from his remaining cells, even a 15-fingers Sukuna (against a target as weak and non-durable as Kars) could probably cut Kars on a cellular level using a reasonable amount of output (all the more since Gojo, who's weaker than Sukuna, is stated to be able to affect matter on a MOLECULAR level). Or Sukuna could just yeet Kars into space since a mere volcanic eruption can (I repeat myself but 15F Sukuna mops the floor with a character that can summon a literal volcano).

I think scaling JJKs speed so low because of the characters and authors notes only talking mach speeds is a bit ridiculous if youre going to put other verses characters against them. There are multiple curses that use 'light beam' style attacks in multiple different fights and sometimes like with Yuta against Getos grade 1, very early in the power scaling. It feels more like JJKs author just not liking the stupid idea of faster then light speed garbage you see in other series thus 'light' base attacks are not treated as light speed in JJK.

i think the thing i love the most about ultimate Kars is the following line of though has you character lived in planet earth? ----> Yes ------> is he genetically powerfull, or the power is because of its genes/linage ------> yes -------> Kars can copy it and be 10x stronger -------> Kars win because yk, they never had specified how ultimate kars works, we only know he can copy everything that had lived on earth, since Kars only knows about planet earth, so brother, if you go like "no but actually Goku wins against Kars", as soon as Kars copies the saiyan ADN is over for Goku no matter how much transformations he has, the more he shows, the more Kars would learn and improve since he has the perfect genes, him being the ultimate creature. so unless is a energy kind of creature (lets say for example, anti espiral) Kars can just go and, yoink, your power is mine. and yes, people will think inmidiatly on Novel Kars with this commentary, but thats just headcanon, i dont personally think Kars can get any soul manipulation, which would be necesary for him to copy stands, since stands, unlike the saiyan stages, are a power driven by the soul of the user, not the genes or something biological. and yes, he could copy energies from other worlds like chakra and Ki, since these are innate to creatures from those worlds, like how humans from dragon ball earth have such low Ki unless they train, and the same for chakra

Yes, he would learn every CT if he sees it once, Sukuna is basically fighting a mahito/megumi/himself/kars mix, the mahito part comes from being able to manipulate his body in whichever way he wants, megumi is because kars can just make the ten shadows(mahoraga would be the easiest since he might be there in the fight) and kars just copied any and techniques Sukuna uses against him
