funny thing is, this would actually happen. With Kars not only having all the upsides of being a pillar man with NONE of the downsides, along side being able to rewrite his own DNA at will, he could copy the DNA of ANY sorcerer and gain their innate techniques, and seeing how quickly he mastered Hamon against Joseph, he could probably figure out cursed energy in a similar amount of time.

Well, I’m not sure it works like that, since CE and Hamon are very different. Could he eventually get cursed energy? Probably. Would it be anywhere near as fast as obtaining hamon? Absolutely not. Remember, Kars had been fighting Hamon users for what, centuries? And has lived for thousands of years. So that’s a lot of time to analyse how Hamon users fight, how the breathing technique works, etc. Meaning he would likely have already known how to use Hamon before actually being able to without dying (So he knew how to, but waited until he was immune to sunlight to try it out) Hamon is both a *natural, physical force* (and can even be seen, and interacted with to a degree, by normal people) and a breathing technique. The ultimate lifeform is the *pinnacle of all life on earth,* meaning by default his hamon would be mastered. Cursed energy is born from negative emotions, it’s spiritual, negative energy unlike hamon which is natural life force. Cursed energy is slightly similar to stands in that regard, so if Kars didn’t automatically have cursed energy, it’s not 100% guaranteed that he’d even be able to obtain it, and actually quite unlikely. But assuming he does start with at least a smidgen like all normal civilians in JJK, I’d probably say yes he would be able to adapt and improve upon it very quickly since he learns fast and is extremely clever. But he would also need a decent amount of outsider knowledge about it so he knows how it works, and a considerable amount of time to initially learn it. You might point to Novel Kars as evidence that Kars can copy stands. But I would say to that, it is not canon, nor wrote by Araki, so it is not relevant and doesn’t apply here.

@@RedHotChiliPepper31 this is unrelated to cursed energy; didn't Araki say that if a Stand User went back in time and saw the events of Battle Tendency they'd see Joseph using Hermit Purple the whole time? assuming that's a real thing and not something I hallucinated, I believe that Kars would have a "Hamon-awakened" Stand and if that were the case i think it's not wholly illogical to say that since he has infinite evolutionary potential so would his Stand

@@bloodangel19 To put it as simple as I can... Kars saw hamon used ONCE and instantly was able to use it HUNDREDS OF TIMES BETTER then the guy he was fighting, has immense adaptability to basically everything, and can change his biology to anything that would help him in any fight.

This is more or less what I expected too. Kars has that adaptability, which makes him damn near unstoppable. It took the clever Joseph a lot of effort to launch Kars into deep space where he is left to silently scream in endless torment, frozen all over in ice that will never yield in a body that cannot die.

i think a lot of people (even and especially JoJo fans!) really underscale Kars when they put him in cross-series fights. he has perfect regeneration and can replicate anything a living organism can do including whatever the power system of his opponent is.

@@giogio4222 I think that one’s pretty obvious, he can reconstruct himself on an cellular and possible atomic level, so it’s highly likely that as long as even one cell of him is left then he can regenerate. Realistically who’s gonna pay attention to the thousands of sharp shell feathers he shoots that turn into piranhas. He could shoot something far off into the distance and that would be enough to regenerate him

I just realized the implication. Sukuna COMPLETELY disintigrated Kars, meaning he SHOULD be dead, but since he left an arm far away from the fight, he was able to regen from that. He probably did that once he noticed that Sukuna casually sliced off his arm.

Something I've just realized is that cursed techniques can only be used by people with certain brain types, which means that Kars would have to reshape his brain to use them. Kars only started using Sukuna's cursed techniques AFTER regenerating from his arm, which meant he had the chance to reshape his brain to use Sukuna's abilities.

This is some of the best jojo fan animation I've seen in a long time. My only complaint is that Heian Form Sukuna would be taller than Kars (he dwarfed Yuji and Yuta by at least several feet) but besides this one simple nitpick it's simply magnificent

Now that I come back here it's funny if you think about it. Kars could have killed Sukuna easily by touching him and absorbing his biomass. But I think that he dragged the fight out so he could see what Sukuna could do and steal his moveset. Imagine if he decided to wait a bit longer and saw the 10 shadows technique 💀

Sukuna would need to go back into his Megukuna(Megumi state) to use Mahoraga again and even then.. Kars seemingly adapted to Sukuna’s skillset faster than it took Mahoraga to adapt to Gojo’s..

Sukuna and JJK are quite a bit lower in speed than even part 2 JoJo but they have some greater destructive feats, but Sukuna would struggle a lot trying to keep up with Kars' movements

@@bloodangel19 JJK characers are Mftl in combat speed, you Jojo fans should stick to the memes because you peopel dont have the slightest clue of how to powerscale thinking that Pucci actually has infinite speed even though his ability is just accelerating infinitely, most characters in JJBA have building level ap with their stands and human level durability, Kars is the only exception as he is nigh-unkillable but the lava was gonna kill him if he hadn't adapted and made the rock armor, and the space ripper stingy eyes shouldn't really be considered light speed because that is an outlier but most characters can't dodge them in the first place

the thing about kars is that, if you are alive, he can do whatever you can, but (at least) 1 million times better. unless he gets bullshited through (joseph style) he isn't losing to practically no one, as the mere action of existing in the same universe as kars makes him as stronger or even more stronger than you.

Even then 💀 Sometimes even Jojo fans forget how absolutely bat shit insane ultimate Kars really is, having ALL abilities of leaving being in planet earth, both present and past, having them at their absolute peak and then some, having wrist blades that move at literal light speed, being able to sense even the slightest changes in the air, having absurd durability and regeneration, absorbing people and living things with his flesh, being the smartest being in existence, being above light speed, has Hamon so strong it’s literally as powerful as the fucking sun, can create separate beings from his body, has mitosis, is immortal, never ages, never tires, and can copy natural abilities if they can be passed down. Kars. Is. Fucking. Bullshit. Even with Mahoraga, Kars abilities are so fucking numerous and complex it would take literal YEARS for the divine general to completely adapt… to the first set, because Kars WOULD evolve to the point of getting new abilities. Only reason Kars lost was because of plot armor and the mother of all asspulls. Y’all think Madara was done dirty by his author? Kars pulled a Madara before it ever was a thing. Bro was literally so overpowered Araki had to create a specific situation for him to be cheated out of a win.

Yes, AND do it better, no shit, if Kars was let alive for just 1 more season without affecting the birth of Jotaro, he would have gained Stand power naturally, and most likely found a way to evolve it or change it to ANY OTHER STAND OR ABILITY. Cursed techniques? Piece of Cake, Nen? THATS a Halloween fright, Chakra? With his eyes closed, Ki? Perfect Cell part 3 💀, I’m even fairly certain he could master more complex magic systems in one go if he really wished so. Only realistic way to stop Kars is to hit him with nothing short of atomization.
