Yeah, I can’t understand why Shad and tyranth never wear gloves. I just think if you’re going to touch your sword you should have gloves on, and if you’re fighting you definitely should. So when they negatively view a sword grip because it hurts their hands, I just think that wouldn’t be a problem if you were wearing gloves!

When you colab and duel: Make two warriors, who meet in the bronze age, fight and one dies, then we cut to the iron age, they meet again, and the other dies. it's insinuated they're reborn in different ages as lifelong enemies, reborn through the ages. The benefit of this is lots and lots of weapons, and outfits, and also, you get to kill each other like, 6 times. End the skit with them meeting one final time like maybe in the modern era like, "here we go again" they charge and it ends.

So after Shad's reaction to this, it should just evolve into a videochat stream, where you two just get together, maybe twice a month, and just chat about whatever. As for the thumbnail algorithm, the reason they probably base it on watch time isn't just because that's what they deem important, but because that indicates whether a viewer feels click-baited or not. So, if they click on the video because of the thumbnail, but then feel like the video isn't an accurate representation of their expectations, they're not as likely to watch it through, hence the thumbnail was misleading. So it's not just about how many clicks a thumbnail can get, but how well it communicates the contents of the video accurately,

I think the deepest reaction rabbit-hole i ever saw was EFAP reacting to Jay Exci reacting to Hassan Piker reacting to Jay Exci reacting to Hassan reacting to Jay. Jay had made a video about a strange house for sale, Hassan 'reacted' to it by leaving it playing for his audience while he cooked dinner. Jay reacted to that with supreme sarcasm, also leaving the room and returning with a cardboard cut-out of a pizza he proceeded to eat. Hassan reacted to that with mostly confusion and indignation, which Jay reacted to by pretty much just laughing at him, then laying out why stealing content is bad. EFAP reacted to that video as a sort of thesis statement on what delineates transformative or otherwise fair reaction from freebooting. All in all a very interesting, funny, and aggravating saga. I'm sure you both can claim the crown though.

i think the reason why the thumbnail algorhythm goes by watchtime is because it means it reached the right audience. so that they dont just click because of the thumbnail and then just leave again. the algorhythm learns about the audience basically.

I'm subbed to so many people if youtube showed me all of their best videos the home page would chock-full. I disagree. That's already achieved by virtue of importance of average watch time. The algo rewards high watch time anyways. That's already done and fixed. A thumbnail still must attract people. You could have a horrible thumbnail but your base audience will watch a lot and the system will consider it the best performing. We are using photography to judge music.

A Death Metal album would usually have different requirements to an album cover than a pop music album. You may not judge quality of a video by its thumbnail, but you should get an idea of the style of its content. For example: A documentary about medieval warfare might require a different thumbnail than a fantasy movie scene. For hones content creators this might be a inconvenience, but i think this system might be a deterrant for youtube channels who try to farm as much clicks as possible for minimum work. Your base audience will likely watch you virdeo even with a sub-standard thumbnail

I Think the Best option would be 1 of 2 things. 1; find other KZbinrs who are willing to lend a hand to get their name in the credits and a follow up interview video. 2; go to a Medieval Fair and get some venders to add you for the same reason. Everyone would trade time and skill for advertisement in the credits and an interview video. It would still be difficult but the cost would be far less.

I highly doubt Matt Easton would work with Metatron because of his political views. Remember, Matt Easton basically stopped being friends with Shadiversity because of his political views and Knight's Watch. I think that he probably wouldn't work with Metatron because of that, or because of his relation to Shad, or maybe both. Which is really sad, when we come to a place in society where instead of embracing our differing opinions, we distance ourselves from people that don't think like us. Our founding fathers would probably be extremely disappointed.
