I think Sustain it's like a Flex Tune feature on AutoTune 9... However, sounds interesting to have a new competitor! The GUI is very modern... more test is all we need but Metatune is very promising!

I really like the clarity, naturallity and the way the AutoTune attacks the notes, I’ve notice that any other type of “Auto Tune” knock off or pitch correction of some kind, they all mud up the sound…

Auto tune still sounds slightly more transparent at note transition points. That said, Meta tune still does the job super well

I think you should compare it to Autotune-Pro or Artist, which is the latest version and has newer functions.

@name only the new versions of autotune have the same algorithm. At Acess, Artist, EFX Plus & Pro use the same algorithm. Autotune 8 uses a different algorithm than Autotune pro. Same with autotune 7, its diff from 8 and Pro. So stop talking like u know it all. They’re all different and people like certain versions more. Some like 8 more than pro (vice versa)

Autotune has way more transient and sticks out in front more where Metatune blends it in...I imagine the vocal with no tuning also sticks out and that Metatune is smoothing transients a lot, but I could be wrong...

I’ve used both and Autotune sound cleaner but Metatune does have that more tuney sound if that make sense 😂 …I personally prefer Autotune but I don’t like paying 25 a month lol

Yeah. Sure I haven't used meta tune that much to really give it it's final verdict. But I would probably pickup a used AT license for a decent price though if I weren't on the slate sub

Can I ask u a question is the gap better with a neve style preamp I have a Vintech x73 and a real la2a , Manley vox box , and a Avalon 737 with a few distressors and a 610 preamp I can’t seem to figure out which one it goes best with

@@ripdocholiday9650 hmm you seem to own a few nice preamps. Allot of people like the Sony/GAP with a Neve style preamp. I used a A design Pacifica in this clip. The mids are a bit more laid back then say a Neve. I'm sure one of your pres will work great :)

@@ripdocholiday9650 yeah it is a really nice mic. What I like is that they nailed the open sound but it isn't harsh at all. Just super clean and modern. Probably the best Bright modern mic I've tried so far

@@BatsuOhno f'real I was just having a conversation about how autotune has been industry standard more than ever. Litterly every song has it, they just adjust it to make it Subtle. That's the whole point of mixing lol, its just a bunch of little things coming together
