The history of the Gaoju is given in the respective entry in WS 103 + (pp. 2505-2508); until the beginning of Text 1.056/B it is extracted as follows. 高車,蓋古赤狄之餘種也初號為狄歷,北方以為敕勒,諸夏以為高車、丁零。 其語略與匈奴同而時有小異,或云其先匈奴之也。 The Gaoju are probably the remaining tribes of the ancient Chidi [lit. 'the red Di']. Initially they were called Dili. People in the north called them Chile, whereas people in China proper called them Gaoju or Dingling. Their language is roughly the same as that of the Xiongnu but at times has minor differences from that. Some say that their ancestors were the nephew of [i.e. indirectly related to] the Xiongnu.

Chinese records mention that the Hephtalians are from the Huns and descendants of the Tiele people and migrated from the lands of the eastern steppes to the lands of Bactria and Transoxiana. "he Hephthalites are a branch of the Gaoju (高車, "High Carts"), they originated from the north of the Chinese frontier and came down south from the Jinshan (Altai) mountains". Chinese records confirm that the culture of the Hephthalites is the same as that of the Gokturs. Overall, that the Hephthalites were part of the great Hunnic migrations of the 4th century CE from the Altai region that also reached Europe and that these Huns were the political, and cultural, heirs, of the Xiongnu. It is even more interesting that the historical sources confirm categorically that the people of the Turkic Khalaj are the same as the Hephthalites. As for the Kushan, the Chinese records mentioned that they are a migrating people from the eastern lands to the lands of Bactria and Transoxiana, where the original Kushan lands are located between the Yellow River and the steppes, and there is a great controversy among historians about their identification. This is the constant objective truth. Note: It is a grave mistake to read ancient history according to the data of contemporary reality, and this will lead to the conclusion that the Mayan people are of Germanic origin.

I have selected some sources from among the many available which confirm a direct connection of the Hephthalites to the Huns and the Turks. Byzantine sources confirm that the Hephthalites are from the Huns in fact and in reality, but they mentioned the existence of some social and cultural differences due to the different nature of interactions with the different land. The Byzantine historian states: “The Ephthalitae Huns, who are called White Huns [...] The Ephthalitae are of the stock of the Huns in fact as well as in name”. Although the analysis of some Byzantine sources on the nature of the European Hun empire was inaccurate because the Huns in Attila's stage had already reached a stage of stability, as confirmed by the Roman ambassador who visited the capital of the Huns in the steppes of Pannonia and entered the two-storey palace of Attila and mentioned the presence of Roman baths used by the Huns.

If I remember correctly, Hun is the name of an evil Chinese God. Both the Turks and Asia call their state the Hun because they fought the Chinese so much. Khan is the reigning title used by the Turks and Mongols. I think Khan is the English word for this concept, but if not, Kagan (Kagan) in Turkish. Its meaning is that in Asia or Europe it is called the people who unite all the tribes or take some land from all of them. So because my English is bad, The word Khan is a substitute for kagan or the English word for Han. If we have a mistake, it is because we are human.

Attila could have been Rus person and his capital was in Kyiv. Later history was rewritten by moscovian "historians" . I repeat - there are almost NO mongol or tatar looking people in most of Ukraine. I travelled it extensivelly - mostly slavic looking people. Only in the east of Ukraine you start seeing asian types and even then just a few. Excluding tatars in Crimea. If huns were all asian they would have definitely left their genes and lots of them. Made up history fantasy tales.

stupid, the place you call ukraine is the place of pecheneg turks and tatar turks The reason why there are so few Turks there at the moment is the violence of the Soviet Union's policy of persecution, exile and assimilation. you also come from the slavic race that Europe calls slaves. In the history of humanity, which you know as Russia today, it has learned to be a state in the last 600 years :))) Turkish history is at least 5000 years old. You Russians learned the state culture from the Turkish-origin golden army state, and only after them there is a trace of your existence in the region😊🤣 stupid roman slave (slavic) Are you comparing the history of the Slavs who were slaves in the Roman period and the Turkish history, which divided the Roman Empire into two and destroyed both Roman states :)))))( ignorant Slav .
@Mycatsbirthdayparty
@Mycatsbirthdayparty 9 ай бұрын
Slavs look different than let's say northern u.k. anglos. Even then you can find some Hunnic influence in Germany, Holland, and to some extent France. You do realize after mixing for hundreds of years, the original Asiatic Turks look like the Turkish people today? And no the Huns weren't all Asian, the majority and the ruling class were but they had captured and allied caucasians in their ranks too. If you're referring to artists' recreation, Attila is made out to look European just as the Romans have done to their enemies, such as Hannibal and the Carthaginians. Heck, even the Mongols were depicted as Europeans in much of arts from the west. Lastly, I would assume no European is proud of the Huns (save for maybe Hungary haha) as opposed to let's say Alexander's Macedonian, Greek, or Roman Empires. Meanwhile, Asians uphold Attila and the Huns and their legacy.
