Yes it is, had to get this important hurricane alert update out. The hurricanes definitely won’t let me rest. I have a feeling I will be talking about tropical storms and hurricanes into December. It feels wierd in early November.

I was hoping we could get some rainfall in your area from what is left of Rafael later this weekend into next week, however so far it looks like that high remains blocking across your area. I think the pattern breaks down at some point but we may have to wait a few months at least to get some measurable rainfall.

Definitely very concerning with these wild fires. Hoping that one of these tropical systems can push up the west side of the high pressure just as it is weakening a bit. Timing has to be just right though. Keeping an eye on this as I do believe we may have a few opportunities to get some tropical moisture trying to come northward.

All these mixed predictions NEEDS to stop, I remember before Milton they said it may be a strong tropical system WELL we see what happened , meteorologists I give some credit for trying, at this point every hurricane season is different but these storms are really crazy in gaining strength quickly yes we know wind sheer cold fronts cold water all factors against these storms, I’m ready to move out of this floridacane state 😢

Jamaica will have the chance for some tornadoes to form in those feeder bands on the east side, especially from 3AM Tuesday morning through 8PM Tuesday evening. I expect the worst of Tropical Storm Rafael to move away from Jamaica after 11PM on Tuesday, but there still could be lasting bands of gusty showers and rainfall lasting into middle of the day Wednesday in Jamaica.

Unfortunately this hurricane season just doesn't want to end. We may be looking at a few named storms into the beginning of December.

Great question, right now based on the formats they don’t appear to be supported on phones including android, I will look into it though to see if there is anyway to or any future format updates coming that would make it possible to utilize Trilogy Maps on an android phone via a graphics app. I will let you know if I find out its possible as I have so far only utilized through photoshop on a PC.
