These cheap bows are essential for archery. Something cheap but functional so people can try archery without having to invest too much. On of my first bows was a really cheap Junxing twinbow 25lb, had a ton of fun with it and now own 6 bows of various kinds, but I only knew I wanted other more expensive bows by trying the super cheap option first. I'm glad some makers are catering to the low end of th market so nicely, if I had to start archery by dropping £300 on a bow I wouldn't be sure I'd like, I don't think I would have gotten started. The £60 I paid for my Junxing bow was cheap enough I didn't mind the risk.

TJJ Agreed. I wouldn’t even use the word cheap though, they’re really just inexpensive. I have a couple Junxing bows too from Alibaba and they’re very nice quality. After I had my Bear stolen I couldn’t really afford anything expensive as I’m a full time university student. They helped me to get back into archery.

@@gigilaco I have the Junxing twin bow, Phantom and Black Hunter. I've not found a bow I like better than the Black Hunter, even bows that cost 4x as much. £70 and I've not had more fun with a bow.

The vintage market (not sure how large it is for horsebows) is another great option. You can get good condition bows from older times for really cheap, and they perform very well.

Nice review. I have owned this bow in 35 punds for a couple of months. I find it really accurate and nice to shoot. I think the Nick part of the string is a little thick. Mine kept a few nocks until i glued them on better. Great place to start.

Nice Review as always and with a touch of humor to boot. I wonder if you have any experience with the sada horsebow from Oakridge. It's a linated "half entry bow" I suppose here in Portugal it's 149 € at 52". I'm from Brazil and seeking a intermediate horsebow with a limit of 500usd for all stuff (arrows ect) due to customs. I'm looking for a "non total green shooter" bow, ambidextrous, so I can learn thumb release. Unfortunately in Brazil we have Zero option for ambidextrous. Sorry for this long post

I love that deep sound twin bows usually have. With all these affordable bows over the years, which would you recommend for a new, traditional archery club, as a standard bow? Would it still be the snake bow? There are some nice laminated bows that aren't too expensive, but I guess fiberglass would be better for beginners?

I have a few questions for you about inexpensive buck trail bows. You reviewed few of them and I noticed you reacted to their novice level and hand shock. How does one address these issues (arrow gpi, string dampening, limb dampening, string material....) and what to expect from them?

Hello there, I have been trying to decide for quite a while now which traditional bow should I use to master the different drawing techniques which I learn on my old 20. lbs hungarian beforehand. Any advice on which bow would be best suited for this? I apologize in advance if you covered this in previous videos and I missed it. Also 1 more thing; could you please consider putting the reviews in a separate list of videos? Furthermore, you are an awesome teacher of some more unorthodox drawing techniques, I learned a lot. Thank you
