Good interviewer, good responses. Metric fell off my radar for a while, and am blown away they're still going so strong. Really enjoying the last three albums. Love that Toronto music scene from the early 2000s, so formative, feels like we grew older together even though we didn't.

I've been lucky to have been following them closely for 17 of those 20 years. Now that my son is 16, Emily's voice is nostalgic to him since he has been hearing their music since he was a baby. Thanks Metric for being part of his soundscape!

Although I truly enjoy and appreciate every Metric album, I feel like with each album they find a new level of mastery. Formentera II is the best so far. So glad I live in a time where I can experience this band.

I know this is a longshot but if somehow you could tell Emily and her Bandmate that her latest album Formentera II has really helped me when i was mentally unwell & it has helped me relax and has been an amazing distraction for me, i would be much appreciated, i am a spiritual person and i am affected by current events, thanks for the music, Dead Disco, Combat Baby & Help I'm Alive were my first songs.
