technicaly it is possible to restore old memories when you suffer hard emotional situation/shock, which was the case for the ending of Metro 2033, but yeah, was kind of confused as well

I really wish they kept Artyom's narration in the loading screens as they were in the original game. This gruff, super serious voice doesn't suit his character as much as the more melancholy and slightly haggard tone in the original.

Did you really had to do that "I will save filters by putting my gasmask on and off the whole time" shit? If you are having problems with filters, just look around better or just fucking buy 60 filters at the market-station and you're fine for the rest of the game.

Love this game...but don't meta the game while making a game movie!!! The gas mask shit at the end really killed it for me... I was doing the same thing when I first finished the game, but I didn't put it up for people to see as a movie... I'm just about to start on Last Light, hopefully there won't be any of that there...broke the immersion completely... Still awesome, have a thumbs up from me.

I couldn't get past Depot on Survival Hardcore. I appreciate survival mode but I feel like spartan/ranger game modes are more satisying. After starting over in Ranger Hardcore Im finding the game plagued with crashes and overall Im getting fatigued with about 20 hours played on this draining, dark, depressing game that is out of my comfort zone. So... I'm gonna watch this (at 1.25x speed) to see the ending and start on Last Light. I want to play most of it at least and start on Metro Exodus before they get removed from gamepass (you never know) No matter how dark these games are, the story is irresistible. Great stories in gaming are becoming more rare in my opinion. Funny thing is, japanese games used to have the best stories bar none, but now anime RPGs are becoming more mindless indulgences of fan service while western (especially european) are taking over.
