I disagree with calling him a snitch. He was an employee who didn't get paid, and was lied to by his employer (who supposedly considered him a close friend). True, he should have known (and probably did) that what they were doing was illegal but he was naive enough to be convinced by DimWitt that the law was on their side. And lets not forget that Jeremy wanted him to "prep the cameras" (tampering with evidence, aka:felony). He's not a snitch, he's a guy that got screwed over by Jeremy and is now facing serious charges. He just wants to get out from under the pile of crap that DimWitt put on him. I bet if Jeremy had paid him properly he may have stood by his side! This is just karma, JD style.

The problem is that Jeremy is a malignant narcissist who thinks he’s brilliant enough to pathologically game the system without being caught. He doesn’t ever think he’s wrong, he just thinks everyone else is stupid. He’s desperate for power and respect, the business is just an attempt to get those things. I’m sure if his cars and bikes had large obvious decals that just said “funeral escort” he’d have a nice successful little business but if he did that he’d never get the level of respect he feels is owed to him. He claims he pretends to be a cop so he can demand respect from the public but idk about anyone else, if I saw a funeral procession that was clearly marked, I would understand, be patient and respectful and let them do their thing. His actions are actually having the opposite outcome he desires. All of his business attempts are just more of the same. Pretending to be a cop to escort funerals, illegally starting an ambulance service to escort vulnerable elderly people and children, illegally pretending to be a security guard, etc etc and now I hear in the start of this video that he wants to also be a bail bondsman. Can you imagine? Think Dog the Bounty Hunter meets Jeremy Dimwitt. Yikes! I’m sure at this point he can’t do that because of all his felonies but damn, I’d love to see videos of him acting like Dog. 🤣

I think in the act of self-preservation, he's covering himself because Dewitt will sell him down the river. He hadn't gotten paid multiple times, put him in compromising positions that could land him in jail. I'd cover myself too. Dewitt did this to himself.
@imvandenh3 жыл бұрын
Well then you're just as foolish as he is, thinking that he's helping himself here. The police rely upon the general public's lack of knowledge of how situations like this actually unfold in order to entice information out of individuals. I'm sure they promised him the moon and the stars in addition to immunity from prosecution on any possible charges stemming from his statements. And I'm just as sure that he didn't get that in writing from someone who had the authority to give that immunity, which the cops don't. Offenses as petty as Jeremy DeWitt is charged with are not serious enough for prosecutors to even consider immunity for for those peripheral to the investigation. They probably wouldn't even take these charges seriously if not for the internet media explosion regarding this douchebag and his antics. The police will take whatever self-incrimination this well-meaning snitch spills and they will prosecute him. A month from now he'll get a summons and complaint in the mail charging him with something stemming from the interview here and only then might he realize he should have kept his dumb f****** mouth shut. He's not helping himself unless he got a deal in writing before he started talking. I highly doubt that to be the case but cannot say for sure obviously. It is never in one's best interest to talk to police about anything, ever. Television and movies have fooled people into thinking that the opposite is true. I did a study back at University regarding what lawyers and police think about cop dramas on television. My findings were that most police enjoy cop shows but most lawyers can't stand them, one of the top reasons being the same for both. These shows reinforce the false notion that it's in one's best interest to tell the police what you know and that police officers demand alone is enough to require you to speak.
