Been into slot cars from the age of 18, and now 65 still having fun, the racing skill I have picked up. and found over the years, its the fun in controlling my cars, not coming off the track. (winning isn't everything) although people take this hobby too seriously, a known fact, slot cars are so pricey, $121.00 for 1/32 cars. 🤓

Thanks man! I had a slotcar track when I was like 10 one of the cars sadly became super slow and eventually died. I assume this could have been the cause. I'm getting back into the hobby 10 years later. It is usefull to see stuff like this expetially as a complete begginer.

Have you ever considered using contact cleaners or contact enhancers such as dioxide gold G 100 L? I’m an old slot car enthusiast from the 60s and now I’ve turned audio as a new hobby. Contact cleaner and enhancers are a must maintain great quality of sound. Might be astonished.

Best to set up on a table, not the floor! If possible!🤷🏽 I’ve set one up on hardwood floor, and it collected so much dust!
