Fair review I think. It’s a good game, and a good Metroid game, but it’s definitely missing that atmosphere. I always preferred Fusion and Super Metroid, but it’s still a dang good game.

Oh yeah, Zero Mission is a much better way to experience Metroid, that’s for sure!

Zero mission is my favorite in my opinion because all the sequence breaking in the game. like skipping all the statues besides the first one pretty much and other ways to get things way earlier.

If you enjoy sequence breaking then the original Metroid is the best in the series
