@Metrolina Martial Arts There's so many inconsistencies with this story... I remember back when there were shipping wars. , people were pointing out that Hinata and Neji would be a couple. For the obvious reason that Someone from the main branch Would need to marry someone else who's also Hyugaa to pass the eye down. This was made so obvious. If she didn't marry Neji, then she should have married another Hyuga... If negi were alive he would especially be p***** that she married naruto, Knowing her position in the clan and her responsibility to birth more pureblood Hyugas. This girl has forsaken her entire clan and customs for Naruto.

Neji’s style is based on Yin Style Baguazhang and Hinata’s is based of Cheng Style. Cheng Ting Hua was very good with the Lion palms which is why Hinata’s “awakened state” has two Foo Dogs (Chinese Lions) on her palms. The drop stance (pu bu) where Neji has both arms extended is actually a variation of that transitional movement. Another variation of that is the lead hand is still facing palm up while the back hand is turned over into a hooking hand. There are pressure point strikes found in Baguazhang but most systems have lost it over time due to various reasons including lack of transfer, students not continuing the practice, opium destroying teachers and students causing loss of retention, etc. The piercing palms (ox tongue palms) as mentioned in the video are the basis for those strikes as well as the seizing techniques trained using the Eagle palms of the system. The fact that Neji and Hinata look different as that use the gentle fist is not only in reference to yin and cheng but also to the fact that the sub styles of the main branches are exceedingly numerous. Baguazhang is a large and complex system. Each first generation student was already accomplished in another art and that influenced heavily what was contained in their style of the system. The descendants also brought in influence from other styles but there is a steady loss of original information as time progresses due to emphasis of one thing over others, purposely leaving things out they didn’t understand or practice enough, or learning from someone that was no longer physically or mentally capable of proper transfer. The two arms out to the side that was mentioned as a potential double slap is often referred to as slide shutter to look at the moon. A double palm slap is one possible application along with a tripping motion but if one changes the foot work it becomes threading the needle.

Wonderfully entertaining video, while I am not a fan of naruto, I have studied a few different schools of Baguazhang, even being utilized with Japanese terminology. Especially with the analysis of the techniques being discussed, since arts like Baguazhang and Bajiquan were used heavily by bodyguards. So the moves being used to control or direct people, and to clear paths; was nice to see here. Thanks for the video.

The rotation technique actually requires that you release chakra from all the tenketsu in the body at once, and rotate in order to provide the rotational force. The basic application of this was able to block Naruto’s Punch and return Kidomaru’s web. Knowledge and skill manipulating tenketsu specifically allows for these advanced techniques of the gentle fist.

@@metrolinamartialarts awesome, a hug from Brazil If you do i think that his style is most based on kick boxing (fast strikes and good boxing), karate (his iron breaker punch), judo (when he use throws he almost never do a doble leg or common wrestler moves usually uses sweeps and more "technical" stuff) and aikido (this is very obviously) and of course anime the most op fighting style (lol), almost forget the blood doping he does hehe. Hope this help on making your video Keep doing your amazing work my friend

As for the idea of the finger-tip striking, here's a monk demonstrating the technique breaking rocks... when I visited the shaolin temple, there were cypress trees covered in deep holes and divots made by monks practicing this technique. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pn-8cmCqeLqsbpI&ab_channel=Memenator also, to anyone not a monk devoting their lives entirely to the honing of their body into a weapon... DO NOT TRY THIS it takes years, or even DECADES to compound ones bone density and strengthen one's hands to the point of being able to do these things... the monks are often toeing the lines of the absolute limits of human potential here...

To supplant trees one fan use compacted sand, body weight calisthenics that hold weight on the fingers, dense striking bags, and densenstriking dummies to train accuracy. Ensuring that you train flesibility thoughout every hand joint is critical. In order to heal one should be training grip exercises, stretching qigong for the hands, and heat therapy/cold therapy to ensure the flushing of weight and influence whilst bringing nutrient rich oxygenated blood to to the hands.

@@thedappermagician6905 indeed, it can be done. my concern was for weeb hobbyists thinking they could just do a couple of fingertip pushups, then break a board with their 2-fingered strike... i've seen broken fingers and ripped off nails from people trying that... 😅
