I'm very confident that if Jodie's version of The Doctor had the quality of writing as David's and Matt's, and even Peter's incarnations, she could have easily been one of the best versions of the Doctor. Gender didn't kill her run of the show, terrible writing did.

Well the possible irony is that if the writers were any good at their job they wouldn't have made Dr Who a woman in the first place, given how people would have correlated it to the same forced progressive liberal ideology in everything else, thus making half their audience walk away regardless of the writing or intention Competent people don't shoot themselves in the foot for no reason and then try to run a marathon is what im getting at

Unfortunately, boring. Boring is how I would describe the show in the latest versions. I enjoyed some of the Capaldi episodes, but when Whitaker was the Doctor... bored. Chuti's comments in public, are pretty awful. Apparently we all hate his character because he's gay.. No because he makes the character gay, not just sexually so, but gay in the constant behavior of the character. The best part of the Doctor before, was his inability to relate to anyone else sexually, and how this lead to being a stiff, and objective character. The idea that the Doctor was a conservative, British type is also pretty funny. You know of all the people / aliens available, he ends up being British... Damn funny.

Damn and I actually liked Gatwa's doctor... and I was gonna watch his season even though the first episode of the anniversary l really hated I liked his stand slone episode...but now since he's said all this stuff I kinda don't wanna watch it

What about it? They're fine. They remain consistent with a specific style of thumnails. Makes the videos easy to recognize. And to be fair he uploads nearly daily. You'd get tired of coming up with super original thumnails all the time for every single video you make

There have been a plethora of movies and shows with terrible writing that have tried to implement controversial ideologies and agendas into the faces of viewers all over the word for decades, and that's no reason for fanatics to claim victimhood after first attacking and bashing the people hired to keep Doctor Who alive. Learn how to cope with change without being so childishly dramatic about it.

I’ve genuinely no idea how to respond to that….. Although I will ask, how exactly are fans the problem with the very people creating the show are attacking fans? 🤔 And yes there have been terrible films/series filled with controversial elements especially in the last 5 years. And funnily enough people respond negatively to bad writing - Doctor Who is now the latest in a long line of examples 🤷‍♂️
