The Mets showed resilience tonight. They've had this kind of grit pretty much all year, which explains that game against the Phillies a few weeks ago. Sure, they've played a terrible NL East but they're 5-2 against St. Louis and 4-3 against the Giants, who are both great clubs. This is a good test to see if they can finish this series strong despite not having the two best pitchers in baseball. The Dodgers are proving they are the team to beat in the National League this year. Buehler had an off night, the Mets took advantage. These teams should meet deep in the playoffs.

When he goes to HR derby general fans, NY radio like Evan Roberts, etc.. are always like HR derby is so blah whatever idc about it just win a World Series. What a joke. To appreciate the game and life. The moments you cant fast forward past. To see him go out there at a Derby event and look 12yrs old. The only one max hyped, the only one it means to as much as a game to showcase his talent and foresee a dream come true and to win back to back and never relent because after weekend his production never stops. I didn't think we would sweep the Dodgers but I didn't want to come in and get murdered I didn't want us to be a team that can beat terrible teams but we can't beat good teams.... the first game we didn't lose by a lot so I didn't hate it... the second game are bats didn't really show up and I was starting to get nervous ....in yesterday's game against a good pitcher we were a resilient hard-hitting team... Dodgers just embarrassed the game and the rules with their attempt to have a position player take the mound in a game that was a 5 run difference. 1-An able pitcher was in the pen so use him 2-Learn the rules. Must be at least a 6 run difference to use a position player as a pitcher 3-If you cannot have a fresh arm in the pen every single day maybe you are not using the staff in the best way possible, huh? Buehler was seen as the top guy coming into this year. His number don’t truly show how bad he’s looked Vs EVERYONE outside of that shutout hs the dbacks I believe. every time he’s out there he’s struggling but especially over the last month it seems like he can’t make it past the 3rd without having 5 runs on him . Friedman needs to approach the deadline like that’s the buehler you’re gonna have all year. And can’t rely on gonsolin or Anderson to continue doing what they’re doing. Alex wood and Ross stripling had unexpected great first half’s for us on the past and fell off because pitchers like that aren’t used to pitching that much or being that dominant
