Mets vs Dodgers Highlights: Pete Alonso blasts two homers, drives in five as Mets bats break out

After scoring just one run in the first two games of the series in LA , the Mets offense broke out led by Pete Alonso's two home runs and five RBI winning, 9-4. Alonso now has seven homers in eleven career games at Dodger Stadium. Francisco Lindor and Eduardo Escobar also went deep, as part of a thirteen hit attack.

I have to say honestly that I will be happy if the Mets play .500 ball on this west coast trip. If they split this series with the Dodgers, that's an accomplishment. We can't expect them to treat every team like they treat the pitiful NL East, sweeping two series. Sometimes you have to bless the drop and don't curse the knot.

Pete showing to be an MVP. We gave the Dodgers a taste of their own medicine. Hated those Dodger uniforms......hedious. Maybe with white pants it would have been more palitable.
