From seeing how thrashed the stock tires were after only 8000 miles, seeing how well these did initially and after 16K+ miles and your first impressions of the Night Dragons... DEFINITELY going to look into getting the Cruisetech tires once I get the 1100 in the future. Always great info from you, ride safe and have fun!

Thanks Gus. Excellent video. Just had the dealer put on my Metzler cruise tax and the brake pads are running on the front wheel rotor. It appears the left side axle isn't seated against the shaft collar. I can see a few threads between the shaft collar and where it supposed to seat against the fork.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the wheel installation, it's hard for me to understand what happened, perhaps looking at the front wheel video might be helpful? kzbin.info/www/bejne/ql6wmoWciNBpkJosi=Qs0WMAjBqh_uPKgC

Hi Anthony!! I got the front from Amazon for $206 delivered, and the rear from cycle gear $262. Installation was additional and will depend on if you take the wheels to the shop or the shop removes the wheels off the bike. with the wheels off the bike it is best to get them done at Cycle gear for apx $20 each if i'm not mistaken. Can't wait for the weather to get better!!!!

The front tire is 130/70-18. I would like to put a wider front tire on my 1100 like 150/70-18. I know that may effect the speedometer a little bit, but would it affect anything else. I have done that on other bikes and cars and really made a difference in the ride quality. I appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.

Hi Philip! Both have pros and cons, and designed to serve a purpose, because the rebel isn't a sport bike nor a cruiser, it will have to fall under personal preference, generally speaking, the more sport bike oriented bikes feel better with radial tires.

bias ply? i though you would get the radial. How do you like them after almost one year of riding? Now i read down where you said bias ply applies better for your riding style. But yeah others commented how brave you did with the new tires, i think 50 miles is the distance to brake them in before you ride it harder faster and closer to the ground 😝

Hi Julio! I have 10,000 miles on them and they still look brand new, I love them! Excellent grip in all conditions and Temps! Please ensure that you get both front and rear in Bias, that is what the manufacturer recommends, they only make the rear in Bias.

I swear by Metzler tires. They love to corner, and they will slip for the fist two or three days until they are broken in. But after that you can easily lay the into sharp corners as far as your bike will let them. They will make you feel like you have a better bike!!
