hussein335 the biggest buff buffer got was his to his weight. He used to be very light and easy to KO. But his buffed weight changed him to be borderline medium weight. He also got some trajectory buffs to his moves for a better combo game. However, he did get a nerf earlier that reduced the hit box of his U-Smash, which was just insult to injury to Mewtwo then.

Mewtwo has potential to be a great character due to his combo ability, and his off-stage prowess makes him incredibly viable for those willing to put time into him. His one glaring weakness is how early he dies and his large hurtbox, but those cognizant of his evasive abilities will unlock his true potential. Great video, My Smash Corner !

An important thing to keep in mind is that the attacks that use his tail, such as his up air and side tilt, deal more damage at the base of his tail. Kinda like a reverse Marth. Another great channel for learning the fundamentals of characters such as Mewtwo is Super Smash Academy.

Sadly that isnt a combo, as the opponent can DI away or Air Dodge. This combo does work on for glory though, much like confusion due to lag

Tomo Hawk It's worked for me when I was playing against my friend. I guess you gotta catch them off guard? It's the only combo I've been able to come up with and I definitely agree it's real easy to DI out of, so I guess you have to be quick.

I don't know how people play with tap-jump on.. same with C-stick for ground tilts.. I find that hard-pressing the buttons is too inconsistent to use for smashes.. I'll get tilts instead a lot of the time. I use C-stick for smashes and that's it.

i found a neat little trick with confusion using it in the air if you dont have much momentum going in a certain direction, you can use confusion to give some serious momentum increase to a direction you'd want to go to

Fun fact. You can do an addition to jab, downtilt, up canceled upsmash. Just follow up with a neutral air and when the player lands, side smash.

Not related to the video, but I noticed something that might worth mentioning eventually. When any character is running, have them turn around, then input the opposite direction halfway during the turning animation. The turn will be canceled with no lag, and you'll keep moving forward. This may be somewhat similar to Perfect Pivoting, but I find it useful for fake-outs.

I found out a trick with Mewtwo. If you hit an opponent in the air with up air and double jump at the same time, you can combo them with another air move (forward air is the funnest). This usually works when they're at 70-100%, and can even be combined with down tilt as a combo, but you have to be as close as possible when you do down tilt otherwise you won't reach them with the up air.

Side-B to Shadow Ball. If your opponent doesn't tech, you can Jab lock them. As soon as they get up, use Disable. Then you can follow up with either a Up Smash or Down Smash, depending on the height. If at high enough percent, it is deadly.

Tech that you should cover: dash cancel into forward smash... Dash forward then back (which usually would have you character slide) but you can cancel it into forward smash on either direction, basically wavedashing but it only lets you hit forward smash.

You can footstool, double jump cancel disable on Luigi and other characters. You just have to DI and wait like 2 frames so you land in front of him. The only ones I couldn't do it were a few small ones, I think they are Meta Knight, Diddy Kong and Olimar.

mewtwo is super fun to mess around with and i found this "combo" even though it isn't true it's super fun and pretty easy to land: Near Ledge, Do an up- Tilt (optional) then grab, back throw, jump, back air then jump and down air (usually doesn't work to well on fast fallers) another option is following the first back air, use your final jump then quickly do a back air and while you still have momentum from the final jump, down air however this option usually only works in higher percents tho, have fun!

I don't know if its techable, but on battlefield, when you use confusion on someone right below a platform, it usually causes them to instantly land on the platform, and if they miss a tech, is pretty much a free fair. Doesn't work against all characters. Good video though!

As a note, if anybody is having trouble landing the footstool > Shadow Ball lock, some characters will require you to B-reverse the Shadow Ball. It's a very execution-heavy trick, but not impossible, so keep trying!
