Tx-Mex is not the same as Mexican food. Closest to Mexican food on this list, is Taco Palenque, eveything else is white people Tex-Mex food. So title should be updated to "Tx-Mex Chain Restaurant ..."

100% true. There's a big difference in taste between a true Mexican ran restaurant(El Cazador) vs Tex-Mex(Tumbleweed) and I personally prefer the true Mexican places to eat at.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Not very "Mexican" more like white washed food.

The name is Torchy, means it will be too hot for me :( Like Publix fries it's chicken, in same oil with hot wings. So you can buy fried chicken at Publix, but it will be spicy. People can add spice, they cannot remove it.

Mexican food is way too easy to make at home, yes, I have tried lots of chains but what was once reasonably priced food is now, way overpriced, tacos and tortillas are cheap and easy to make at home, and if you have a decent local Mexican market close by, even better, plus you know exactly what is going in your food
